"Tell me you don't undersand how it all works with one image"The gains at 4k...
5800x3d, just want the absolute best 1% lows possible. Plus already have a buyer for my old CPU, mobo, and ram for $375.For the rest of you upgrading tomorrow, what are you upgrading from?
I'm on a 10700K at the moment
How it works?"Tell me you don't undersand how it all works with one image"
In simple terms there are two tough guys fighting for your FPS - CPU, GPU.How it works?
For the rest of you upgrading tomorrow, what are you upgrading from?
I'm on a 10700K at the moment
And that go against what I said how?In simple terms there are two tough guys fighting for your FPS - CPU, GPU.
The higher the resolution, the GPU starts losing the battle and sadly CPU cannot do much about it.
So seriously, why is AMD doing so well in CPUs and so poorly in GPUs?
"The gains at 4k... It's fucking nothing"And that go against what I said how?
And they are. At least for average fps."The gains at 4k... It's fucking nothing"
So you still don't undertand. And they are. At least for average fps.
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Review - The Best Gaming Processor
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D establishes AMD as the leader in gaming performance. This Zen 5-based X3D chip is not only fast, it also comes with full support for overclocking. Besides gaming, application performance is considerably improved over the 7800X3D, but that comes at a price.www.techpowerup.com
So you don't understand that I said "exactly" that too. -_-'So you still don't undertand.
You will not see gains in 4k resolutions becasue GPU is the limiting factor here, and CPU cannot magiacally make GPU faster.
The gains at 4k...
For repeating what some graphics told us? -_-'Rodrigo Leonidas alt account? Lol
Great showing from AMD as usual. Intel just sucks now.
Not really.. . . Did you expect something different?
the 9800X3D seems like a good upgrade for gaming but i'm waiting for the 9950X3D. hopefully the gaming performance is just as good but also with the multi-core improvements too.Fuck it I’m in if the 9950x3d is better then I will sell my 9800x3d lets go

Im curious, what did you said exactly? So you don't understand that I said "exactly" that too. -_-'
???Im curious, what did you said exactly?
AFAIK, resolution is a GPU task, you don't ask from a CPU to be "faster at 4K".
5800x3d, just want the absolute best 1% lows possible. Plus already have a buyer for my old CPU, mobo, and ram for $375.
So you stated the obvious????
That the gains at 4k are "nothing".
Not really unexpected.
I'm going to grab the Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HeroGonna try and get one of these tomorrow morning. Motherboard recommendations are welcome. (Eyeing an ASRock Phantom Gaming X870E Nova.)
I thought I was making out pretty good on it. It'll cover over half of the upgrade. That's a good deal.
You are making me think but I can resist the urge... 5800x3d still does the job for my at 1440p
Not really.
Expected =/= certain. So you stated the obvious?
Like water is wet?
What's the point? That meme image you used usually means you expected something better.
There is something called "hope".only really happens if you expected it to be better.
No CPU can magically push past a GPU limit.Expected =/= certain.
So you were hoping that this CPU will magically change the fundamental rules of how current PCs work? It's like hoping the sun won't set today. There is something called "hope".
If that was true the framerate numbers would be identical and they are not.No CPU can magically push past a GPU limit.
You think the sun is imortal? So you were hoping that this CPU will magically change the fundamental rules of how current PCs work? It's like hoping the sun won't set today.
If that was true the framerate numbers would be identical and they are not.
Yeah I know it will die in few billion years, which makes it's chance of setting nearly 100%. This CPU wasn't nothing revolutionary and fitting whih standard current architecture, which makes chance of changing the rules nearly 0%. But that's my last post regarding this. You think the sun is imortal?
No, it's not plus as some pointed, the 1% lows are less identical too.1 to 2 percent difference amongst the GPU bound CPUs is, for all intents and purposes, identical.
anywhere to order it from ? wasat Canada computer yesterday. i know the guys there. its not in stock inventory as of yesterday. unless they get a skid today, they are going to miss release dateFuck it I’m in if the 9950x3d is better then I will sell my 9800x3d lets go

The GPU bound is the upper limit. Below that limit you will still see scaling. But TechPowerup has the 9800X3D a whole 0.3% faster at 4K than the 7800X3D, which illustrates just how much room there is for a faster CPU.If that was true the framerate numbers would be identical and they are not.
