Worst parents in the world. Why were both parents gone again? There's just no excuse for it. Even when they were there, they abused their kids. Sadly, I've known some people whose parents were really negligent too. It's far more common than we think. PEACE.

But it seems a lot of people in this thread hold a 16 year old boy who was abused as well responsible for locking her in a room and mistreating her. I don't think that's right, he's a victim just as much as she was.

This is what I think as well.

I would be criminally insane after that kind of abuse. Anyone would be.

The girl is NOT responsible for her actions. The parents are responsible and should be jailed for child abuse.

Wow that was so depressing to read about.:( The girl needs to get help (along with her sisters), and the parents should be the ones locked up. What a mess up family this is.

While I generally find death tragic I wish if someone had to die it was the parents and not the brother who was also raised by their terrible ideas.

Either way I hope the parents go to jail if these allegations of months, possibly years, of abuse are true.

I wish the surviving children luck in turning their lives around from their terrible upbringing.

I'm sorry but what evidence do we have that the son was abused at all? From the articles we know that the daughter was routinely abused sexually (by her uncle), physically (by her parents and her brother) and mentally. We have no proof that the brother was abused unless I'm missing something in an article somewhere?

So you think a 13 or 12 year old boy (depending on his birthday) would think having sex with his sister ( in 2011) was a normal thing to do? If they so opening abused his sister, do you just think it just stopped there? Because I don't.

Considering his uncle also fucked her? Sure. It is not unusual for one child to be the target of abuse while another is treated as a golden child. Considering he was left in charge repeatedly I struggle to believe he was, for instance, locked in his room with a blanket and a possible bucket for 20 fucking days.

I also think "having sex with his sister" is likely crazy parent speak for "caught abusing his previously abused sister".

Just because he wasn't locked up doesn't mean he wasn't abused himself does it? For a 12/13 yr old to think it is ok to have sex with his sis you would think something wasn't right in his head. If he did rape her then thay's even worse, you would have thought he would have learn it some where. No way would a 12/13 think about having sex/ forcing themself on their sis. It comes down to the brother either growing up with abuse being the normal thing, which would mean he wouldn't know any different (not saying it is right). It could also be the brother being physically abused himself. In any case he himself was abused either physically or mentally. It comes down to the parents and the uncle bringing up children in this disgusting way that made physical and mental abuse seem like a normal thing.

I have to assume the daughter either communicated her brother's abuse to the parents and they didn't address it properly, or they were themselves abusive so she didn't bother. Either way there is no way the parents don't share some of the blame here.
