God, I've barely played a thing this month. Way too busy with real life and the only game I've managed to put time into is Knytt Underground. which is awesome but not exactly rewarding when it comes to trophies.

Played my ass off this month took a huge chunk out my backlog. a lot of easy stuff too but my daughter is enjoying the few kiddy games.

Its true! tbh if you look at the shit i played most of them are 5 hours or less. knocked off the 3 saturn games in less then an hour.
megamind was 2 at best.
toy story mania was maybe 3 or 4 hours.
zone of the enders was 5 split between 2 playthroughs to plat
longest games there is spec ops which maybe took 6 -8 overall
nino kuni next month so thats probably the only game ill play. as that'll take me that long to finish.l
God of War II: only have to finish the challenges, but I've been saying that for over a year now.
ICO: will do the speed run in the summer.
PSABR Vita: Had enough of the boring SP grind after the PS3 plat, but I will do it one day.

Much better than me. My proudest gaming achievement this month had nothing to do with trophies, it was going back and finishing two DS games that were on my backlog (Miles Edgeworth and Ghost Trick).
It's a pretty slow game to get into since the first two chapters are basically tutorials and aren't that great. Once you start chapter 3 and get into the real game though, it completely opens up and gets awesome. The level design and game mechanics are fantastic.

Especially Dungeon Siege 3 is frustrating cause it's only killing the end boss on hard mode.
So long i platinumed Far Cry 3 this month, am playing Shadows of the Damned right now and trying to get the last trophies and next up is finishing my stealth run on Dishonored (quick question: do you really can't kill ANYONE for the "Clean Hands" trophy?? Not even the targets??)
Oh and here is my PSN Card

A Pacifist Stealth run on Dishonored is tedious but do-able. IIRC, the key targets can be killed and u should still get the trophy I think? Keep in mind however; if u just leave enemies unconcious in some areas they may be killed by the rats. It was BS like that that prevented me from getting the damn trophy >=/

Grind trophies are the fucking worst.

Hmmmm... Does the result screen name these rat deaths? I was on the third mission I think before i jumped over to Far Cry 3 and I had 2 kills on my list and i only killed the two targets so i don't know if I am still good to go or not :/
One of the reasons I really loved Far Cry 3. Pretty easy trophy I guess, but you weren't supposed to play the game how the trophies dictate it.

I don't think so sadly, when the first deaths showed up in the results screen I was pissed off...but I was enjoying the game enough that I didn't let it bother me =P
No the results screen only shows deaths, but if you're doing a Pacifist run and come up with deaths it probably means it was because of rats. I always knocked guards out and put them on top of objects to prevent rats from getting to them. This only seems to be an issue in the beginning levels since the game doesn't realize you're going for no deaths to a few levels in and reduces the rat populations in the city. For the high value targets you either need to choke them out or use the alternative methods for the Poetic Justice trophy.

Platinum Trophy: Learned to Shit While Upright Again.
I'm really disappointed in the community and staff at TrueAchievements.com. Some overzealous jerk reported a complaint against my gamertag because of my Team Fortress 2 achievements on Orange Box.
Back in May 3 of 2011, I stumbled into a hacked Team Fortress 2 server and it gave me all the TF2 achievements. And so recently I received an email from the TA staff that I was being investigated. Of course my punishment ends up being one of two choices:
1) Remove Orange Box from my list
2) Get moved to a NonStat account, where I'm taken off of achievement and completion leaderboards.
I'll probably choose to remove Orange Box, but it still really grinds my gears. If anything, they should just remove the Team Fortress 2 achievements. Orange Box is a disc with 99 achievements and 4 different games besides Team Fortress 2. It just seems insane to remove 70+ legitimately earned achievements from my tag just because I unwittingly entered a hacked server in Team Fortress 2. =/

Just got this last night. Pretty fun game. Hard is hard but being able to save anywhere makes it pretty doable.

that place has been on a witch hunt lately. the top guy in virgina got labeled a cheat due to glitchy achievements in Full Auto, another friend of mine got reported for Halo 2 PC and My Horse and Me 2.... I'll let that one sink in for a bit. If it wasn't for the stat tracking and organizing boosting sessions i'd stop going there
I'm actually not too bitter about it anymore. I'm choosing the option to remove Orange Box and keep my place on leaderboards. It'll suck to see nearly 70 legitimate achievements disappear just because of the tainted Team Fortress 2 achievements but no biggie. I've already decided to use Fallout 3 PC to make up for the loss, hahaha. You can instantly get all the achievements using the console and it's completely legitimate according to the TA staff.
Meanwhile, I just hit prestige in Black Ops 2, finally. I'm officially done with the game! I'll put it away for good at 830/1000 and trade it in.
I'm also a couple of chapters away from re-completing Max Payne 3. I just need to finish the new DLC's challenge mode to get the full 1665/1665.

It is grindy due to the SP campaign
It will take you roughly 25-30 (minimum, no matter what) minutes per character, and there are many characters to go through
The MP you can stack trophies at an absurd rate
Grab Fat Princess and just keep flying and dropping that Fat ass on people
Get Super 2 "Chicken" get kills
Same goes for the team option trophies
For double and triple kill, use Heihachi, play it like Tekken, just combo it up (you meter builds really fucking fast)
Grab a few weapons that give you super meter refill (the spinning axe alone pushes it up like a maniac)
Pull off Super 3, watch cut-scene, enjoy trophies
The game is like a 2/10 in Difficulty to achieve Platinum
The Vita is 1.5/10 due to the touchscreen tap, grab item mechanic
Edit: Went to the Website, I see, they added new DLC, which hasn't released (1 Silver Trophy)

I wanted the platinum that game too, completed it on hard and everything. But then I realized I'd have to grind pointlessly for those obnoxious maximum level trophies for another six hours or so. That disc has never entered my system after that.
Ah so close!
I planned on the 2 playthroughs from the start so i think i fully evolved about half way through my hard run.

any advice for the 25 seconds in air trophy?
Yes, first you should upgrade to triple air dash and upgrade the jump to the highest possible too
Then jump from the highest building in the red district (3rd island) its the same building you get the trophy for going to the highest point in the city. Float around for a bit until you start to drop fast, then use your dashes to keep in the air. I did it and didnt even realise i had done 25 seconds. Felt more like 15 seconds to me.
Wasn't that one glitched to some extent? I might remember this incorrectly, but the trophy timer for airtime was not reset when you "bounced" off the building walls.
I did not even focus on this trophy and it popped way before I had fully evolved the flying skillset.
Maybe they patched it, maybe I remember it wrong. Don't go quoting me on this.
I'm starting to build up some patience to finish up some really old crap I have in my gamertag with almost no gamerscore. I'm at about 89% completion rate with my achievements and I want to get it as high as possible (95% one day maybe?)

If I can find the patience to 1000 those 5 games I think I can pat myself in the back and NEVER put up with any crap again for the rest of the year.

Drake, BioShock and Prince of Persia are fun, easy Platinums though. WipEout HD is really hard and Pacific Rift is unobtainable now I think.
