Same and I'm pretty sure they haven't patched it out.

Anyway, I just got Encyclopedia of the Common Man on my first try. Only problem was waiting through the in-game night like 3 times, which took a while. Now I just need to finish all the naval missions and then the game to get the platinum.

Yeah, in hindsight, I asked for it thinking that Ubisoft wouldnt have shipped the game with quest-breaking bugs, despite having seen the rest of the technical mess the game is, and didn't look anything up.
 
Not really sure why YGC doesn't want to update my card?

Trophies are synced and everything but YGC still says the last trophy I obtained was in RE5 a couple of weeks back.

Anyway, worked on Lollipop Chainsaw some and nearly at the plat for that, and then I'll finish off ME2.

I noticed a similar thing for me. I just started using it tonight, got a card and the numbers are right for total trophies and levels. However when I checked on the site at all my trophies, lots of the statistics are wrong. And many games are missing too. Claims my first trophy came from Dragon Age Origins which isn't possible at all.

I noticed this happened on the official playstation site too when i tried checking trophies online once. Mainly lots of Japanese games missing. Maybe its cause I'm in Japan or something and the games aren't recognized. But at least my total trophy numbers are correct.
 
The Wii U accomplishments thread has taught me that people have an irrational hatred of Achievements and blame them for things they aren't responsible for.

...I think I'll stick to this thread.

You were using the suck cannon? I think it's the taunter.

Yeah I'm pretty sure about that. Had to turn off the audio when doing the glitch, otherwise it would have made me craaaayyy.

Thanks to our own Joni for suggesting it on PSNProfiles forum after we had a little back-to-back talk about it earlier. Surprised it got put in place so quickly.

Any chance we can start the process of replacing YourGamerCards for these monthly threads?
Like I said before, PSNProfiles cards are better at this point, not to mention the layout and stats on the profiles themselves are miles beyond YGC.

PSNP even has better anti-cheater detection, with auto-flagging, while YGC only has manual and I can assume many are still there. So if anyone that signed up here decides to cheat, it'll be clear and they can be removed, not that I can remember it ever happening besides with one user. The thirst to be accepted via game completes they deem attractive...some will stop at nothing to attempt to feel that satisfaction, besides actually earning it seems.

...Yeah, I have no complaints now. Not opposed to swapping over to PSNP, granted they don't start doing maintenance at the end of this month. :P

Yeah the correct weapon is the taunter. I taped my circle button down and started it about half an hour ago. I'm not sure how much I need for the trophy, I'm estimating about 600k so by the rate it was going it should take me about 7 hours. The things I do for a platinum :\
 
Is there room for one more? Will be doing some trophy clean-up since I'm also going to participate in the no-new-games one year challenge.

Got my Ratchet 1 Platinum. Think that's 10 or 11. It was kind of fun except for that 1 million bolt trophy. Thankfully the other games have tournaments and better challenge mode rewards to speed their bolt trophies up.
 
Man Tales of Graces goes on forever. Doing a load of sidequests and stuff before i hit the final dungeon of the main quest. Wanted this platinum but its going to take at least another 80 hours or so lol.

Think i'll just finish up the main bit of it and then see how i feel then. I have played more in the last 3 days then i have in the last 2 months though. So maybe it won't take too long.

Still have zone of the enders 2 to start as well to break things up.
Not touched my Xbox in a week.

think i may as well just sell it again. Only bought it to play Battlefield with my bro.
Wii U is out soon too and don't have the time for 3 consoles.

Platinum #106 - Assassin's Creed III
Well that sucked. There are so many things that are a step back from the Ezio trilogy, I'm amazed that this came from the main Montreal team. But I'm just glad that I didn't run into any huge game breaking or completion killing bugs that would've forced me to start the game over again.

I really doubt I'll be coming back for next year's sequel. I was already sick of the stupid 2012 storyline and they somehow managed to make it even worse. Hopefully Liberation gets a sequel and I can get my fill of AC gameplay solely through those games instead.

Here's how I'd rank them by the way:
AC2 > ACB > Liberation > ACR > AC3 > AC1

Now to get back to New Little King's Story.

My final time after getting the plat was about 220 hours. Granted I played on Evil first run then Chaos second, and I have a habit of going through Tales games a lot slower than I usually do while trying to do absolutely everything possible.

The platinum will take more than a hundred hours I believe (it took me 113 hours).

Guess it's time to go mental on my database this weekend ;) I'm pretty busy with pharmacy stuff but I should be able to handle it.

I'm gonna add PSNProfiles URLs to it. Then at the end of the month I'm gonna check if there are big differences between the two cards (YGC and PSNP). If not, then I might switch over to PSNP for next month...

everyone agree with that?

That's cool. I've long since preferred PSNProfiles and find it funny how jetsetfluken has pulled a 180 turn on it, as he used to hate it.

Will you be manually updating everyone's accounts at the end of each month (via the home page) or will we need to do that ourselves? I don't think it'd take long, you should be able to open a number of tabs up and do a number of them at the same time.

It should be much better, assuming we don't have any terribly long maintenance times.
 
As if I don't have enough to play...with the announcement of PS+ on Vita, I traded in U:GA and Virtua Tennis 4 and picked up AC:Liberations.

I have a huge vita backlog, and more will add to it with the games PS+ provides.

Seriously thinking about platinuming AC: Revelations since I have all the multiplayer achievements for it. Getting 100% sync would probably destroy me, though.
 
So how's Bulletstorm plat? I'm tempted to download it from PSN Plus, I usually don't like fps but this one seems interesting. Any MP trophies?
 
I believe the Anarchy multiplayer mode requires participation with other players.

The trophy guide makes it sound like two of the Anarchy mode trophies are best done with partners; I'm unsure whether all 5 are possible to earn solo.

Yeah, there are some MP trophies, and the game is very good, if you need a partner for those trophies let me know

Yeah. I've just got the collectables left, at least I don't need to beat the whole game. Thinking of holding off the game till (hopefully) a patch comes, just got Black Ops 2, and wrapping up most of the PS3 Most Wanted will keep me occupied.
