How is the shipping calculated for AMI-AMI? is it high to ship to the united states?

They give you a ton of options so you can pick exactly what kind of service you need. The weak yen has also really slashed into shipping prices, but it seems they're steadily creeping up to compensate.

One thing I will say is, if your order is pretty expensive, I'd go ahead and splurge on EMS. I go EMS on anything over like $50. At the very least, I'd recommend registered SAL or something like that. Regular SAL not only is uninsured, but it takes forever with no tracking. For expensive stuff, I much rather spend the extra $14 or so and spare myself the 3-8 weeks of paranoia. You also get it in like 3-5 days, which is insanely fast. People's priorities vary of course and some people won't be instantly paranoid like I am.

I also ordered the full waves... each wave is close to 1 month apart this time (estimated) so it hopefully won't be the sting the early 2015 waves were.

you can already get some of the 2015 figures for $15 or under in some cases on amazon. The trick is accurately predicting which figures will fall in price and which will be harder to find. Clearly the 2x per case figures will be common. Often times female figures will be harder to find as well, but I'm not totally convinced that will be the case with some of these summer figures... because a lot of the characters releasing are not big name characters and not tied to any new films or anything.

Personally I don't mind just paying the $20 and not having to worry about it. I can build my BAFs and not hunt around or anything.

I think it's a great figure. Seems the only nitpick with him is that some people feel his color is off but no one but crazy forum people will notice that. Would be nice if he came with a gun holding hand but the articulated hands work fine. Definitely worth the price

Nope. They completely botched this one. Hot Toys haven't always done a good job when it comes to face sculpting.

Starlord? Hate that sculpt. I'd say their Nicholson Joker is their strongest work to this point.

I don't have a problem with their Olsen sculpt though, I actually really like it. The hair is gonna be awful but other than that I'm actually really excited to get her. Just give us Quicksilver now and I'm done with AOU preorders.
