Action Figure GAF |OT| Articulated figures murdered my wallet

Yeah same. I ordered the Illidan one since it's only like $24 on Big Bad just to see. Gonna get as many as I can if it turns out decent. I love pretty much every character design Blizzard does.

Picked up Tyrael, though I really wanted Nova, but she's all sold out ;(

Play Arts scale is a joke Arkham Knight Robin is bigger than Batman this sucks.

LOL.

Same character, same toyline, inconsistent scale.

oh man NECA has so many things I'm excited about. Quarter Scale Predator with LED and a Quarter Scale Alien are going to be awesome. I already have an Alien Queen but the red one is so cool looking, I don't care that it doesnt make sense

I really like their quarter scale stuff. They are big figures that really stand out in a collection for a really affordable price. The origins figure is one of my favs
Absolutely. $99 for a detailed 18 inch fig is awesome.

My friend has the Origins one and it looks really good. I've actually been thinking about picking the up the Master Chief one myself.

I'm down for Ada and Leon. Those are some major left field announcements. I wish they would announce a Zombie or Uruboros soon.

Damn, those are awesome.

Dumb question, but are those adding onto an existing line? Or are they new? Just started watching Batman: TAS and I love it.

No matter what else is shown, Hasbro just won SDCC, because fucking Speed Demon comes with the head of Silvermane in a little RC car. This is the best thing, holy shit.

Now the next wave of Spidey figures just needs to give us Overdrive and Shocker so we can finish the Sinister Six.

I know , a cool little attention to detail by Hasbro. Cant wait for these to come out.

So excited!

Yo, how did DC get away with stealth announcing a new 6" line directly analogous to Marvel Legends without anyone but The Fwoosh noticing it?

First wave apparently hits Jan. next year. Using the Multiverse name like the 3 3/4" guys, so it's mixing live action and other media versions of characters with comics.

CW Flash, CW Reverse Flash, CW Arrow, New 52 Joker, Earth 2 Val-Zod Superman in the first wave, with New 52 Justice Buster Batman armor for the Build-A-Figure.

Not too familiar with DC articulation, but it doesn't look to have as many points of articulation as Hasbro's stuff does. The sculpts and paint are far better than Hasbro's output though.

I've been hoping for a 6" Reverse-Flash, and this one seems to be perfect. A shame it comes out so far away though.

Any impressions on the current CW Flash figure? I keep wanting to pick one up, but the eyes are always off on them.

Now that it's clear I won't be able to grab Combiner Wars Defensor than HTS, I just ordered a full set from them with their SDCC 10% off code. He should be here Monday. Man, he looks like the best combiner yet.

Love how bulky he is and his transformation is fascinating. Also ordered Unite Warriors Devy since he'll only be like $50 more than Hasbro's at retail and why wouldn't you want the best version possible of this beast?

I was going to pick up the hasbro version, but the individual pieces are so disappointing on that one. At least Takara gave us elbow articulation.

I'm 3/5 of the way done with Superion- found an Air Raid yesterday, so it's just Firefly and Skydive to go, but I'm really impressed with it so far. Not enough to go all in on any other Combiner until Bruticus next year, but it's got me pretty hyped for him.

I have Superion and Menasor; Superion has a really great combined mode, but the jet modes aren't great. Menasor has much better individual vehicles but his combined mode is kinda garbage. The individual robots are pretty good for both combiners.

Menasor is by far the most disappointing. As long as you don't transform the legs per the instructions, you can make him work, but Superion and Defensor are still better.

I was going to get the Hasbro version of Devy, as the lack of elbows don't bug me because he's a combined display for me, but the price difference is slight enough due to the weak yen to get me to buy the Takara one. It's more for the better paint (especially the purple hands), the transformable head and the fact I have until December to save that pushed me over.

Anybody know if those rumours of Mattel getting the rights to a 6-7" Thundercats line is true?

I haven't heard of such a rumor but damn I hope So! Bandai's Line was pretty damn good. It just sucks it was gone along with the cartoon reboot. The reason the show was canceled because of poor sales of the action figures. I think Mattel would do a great job if they got the license.

Fuck, Hot Toys is gonna drain my wallet again. I need to sell off the ones I don't care about anymore to get some of those new ones.
