It was kind of fun watching that post get edited by two people back and fourth like 4 times in the span of a minute.

God the lighting on this show sucks. Sif in Thor movies = looks like a warrior. Sif in Agents of Shield = looks like a cosplayer. It's like they put in the absolute bare minimum of effort into everything.

Yeesh people, the promotional photos for TV shows and film never look good or properly lit.

Let's maybe wait for the actual episode to judge the lighting and makeup. Lol

I don't have any problems with her outfit, I think what's different is her make up. Her eyes aren't as dark which makes her face look plainer or washed out in comparison to the films. She still looks great but it's what stands out for me.

Looking forward to the episode though

Saw these supposed spoilers on /co/ and, hey, why not, they don't seem too implausible. But huge grain of salt, of course.

The big twist of AoS is that SHIELD has been infiltrated by HYDRA. The redhead agent is one of them.

HYDRA is also behind the Centipede thing, and the Clairvoyant is Mentallo. Basically, there's a bunch of people with powers out there and HYDRA wants to control them.

Skye is a technopath (big surprise). She eventually uses Project Deathlok shit to heal herself and becomes a cyborg.

And the big thing is... Coulson was revived because Fury secretly placed all their date on SHIELD's research on gifted people in his mind as a back-up should SHIELD ever be compromised, because Coulson is the only he trusted. So when he did, they had to bring him back no matter what.

If true, good on them for finally going all in after all this pussy-footing around the Marvel Universe.

NICE!! And since all seems in line with the events of The Winter Soldier.

Those spoilers actually make a lot of sense.
Didn't they have something similar in the comics too?Like Nick Fury found out that SHIELD had been infiltrated by Hydra decades ago and now he couldn't trust anyone except for his own handpicked team?

Oh, so Coulson has
The Caterpillar Files in his head? That's pretty cool.

Hand
wasn't evil in the comics, though. She was just completely amoral, in a "I'll sacrifice anything for the good of the nation" way, which made for a very interesting dynamic.

Does that mean we'll see Fixer too?

That's why I'm so very confused as to what that particular detail is concerning.

That sounds really cool actually. If stuff plays out like that, that'd be awesome.

If those spoilers are true, then there are so many layers as to SHIELDs actions not only im the series but in the movies as well.

Would that mean no Jessica Drew? :(

That one always felt like grasping at straws.

I'd be ok with that.
Jessica Drew
needs massive amounts of swagger, which doesn't seem to be
Skye's
forte.

So this
twist is supposed to lead into Cap 2 right?
I'm unconvinced they can pull this off without it being extensively thinned and surgically removed of any sort of buildup because of how they are going about presenting things. Only part I'm looking forward to is
Nick Fury's contingency plans being described in live action, figured we'd have to wait till Avengers 3 for that.

Everything sounds okay except that last part.

Wait, was Coulson always a secret mule or did Fury use the operation to help turn him into a data mule? Either way, there's huge leaps in logic that really doesn't help sell this to me.

That means the next crossover has the potential to be a real actual crossover, unlike the Thor 2 "crossover".

Now the question (assuming it's all true) is, does The Winter Soldier only lead directly into Age of Ultron, or is there a small hand off to Agents of SHIELD to make the next moves leading directly into AoU?

They've had enough breaks to make the show air several episodes after the release of The Winter Soldier, and assuming s2 airs on a similar schedule, it will be over weeks before Age of Ultron his theaters.

Yeah it lacks punch in any sort of way, maybe we're missing details but it still feels like they're making this up as they go.

Damn it guys. I don't mind spoilers for the show but I want to avoid movie spoilers. I am conflicted on whether or not to read them :/
