yeah aksys just added the tag to tweets when the site was updated, the tweets themselves were random things "aksys" was doing or thinking about.

In the context of a teaser/ARG like this, hacking feels like cheating to me.

I don’t know enough about hacking to say for sure, but as long as he doesn’t show any proof, I’ll just treat it like all the crazy stuff I’ve seen on 4chan and other places while looking for clues: “bullshit”.

Most (all?) of his "hacking" information is a combination of the stuff we found (coordinates, maybe PC or console release), stuff we talked about (errors, outages) and publicly available information you can find on sites like this: http://whois.domaintools.com/4infinity.co

I have just noticed, but what countdowns do when they end?
They reach ZERO.

So, Aksys added "C". If they are going to start adding letters, that reinforces anagram theory.

Yup, I make a screenshot of everything just in case it gets deleted. And this guy writes a long-ass post but didn't think a screenshot or mentioning one of those filenames is something that might help his case.

All the RTs happend quite recently, you can check who they are in the OP (cmd+F:"RT"). Not sure if there's a deeper meaning than 4/4 worked on ZE and 4/4 on Magus.

as i suspected: seems we're getting 1 letter per day now.
My guess: the letters will form a code, and something else on the site will be the key to decode it.

Anyways, I don't know if anybody noticed/said anything, but since the countdown started (circa) the jap VLR site has been down and still is now. 999 still is up and running.

I always liked to think that this is because Aksys bought the rights for VLR. Of course I understand nothing of this businesses, so feel free to prove me wrong!

Yeah but they don't strike me as fast tech guys. The way the teaser site was deployed and the Wordpress permissions had so many flaws.....well, best to help them out as fast as possible. :p

according to a search via TESS (US trademarks), Spike-Chunsoft still holds the rights.

edit: I've checked the trademark for a few weeks now hoping something might change, but right now, Aksys licensing the IP is more likely than them buying it (like Yu Suzuki licensing the Shenmue IP from SEGA). But from what I understand, it takes some time before changes are listed, so the trademark info could be weeks old.

In VLR,
Q stands for Quantum so I think if we are looking for relation to ZE we should assume Q means Quantum.

C and Q make me think that the next letter will be T, forming CQT- aka Complex Quantum Theory.

For those who aren't finished with VLR yet: Calling it that tomorrow's letter is T.

Q!!! Omg,that's a really telling clue. If this teaser doesn't lead up to ZE3,we should be able to officially sue them ;).

How many more letters are we expecting to pop up? I agree that the letters will be the key to solving the rest of the teaser.

It does not help us with the other words, and it precludes something else:

what is awaiting us these next few days, then? (assuming T is next)

Why would it be T? I mean, we know how Q connects with VLR obv., but what about C? It means 100 in roman numerals and is the 3rd letter in the alphabet.. hmmm, idk

The letters could also be the first letter of VLR character's names. We have:

C for Clover

Q for Quark

If this theory is correct, the next letter should be one of the following:

D for Dio

S for Sigma

P for Phi

K for K

A for Alice

T for Tenmyouji
(J for Junpei)

L for Luna

Or, in addition to referencing the room Q in VLR, it could be referencing the q (kyuu) in 999.

Honestly, my theory is that 4infinity is going to an announcement of 4 things, and I have a sneaking suspicion that one of them is going to be an anime adaption of the series or something.

It could be only the returning characters, hope the next word(s) give us more context.

edit: other than the Q room in VLR, there's also this possible connection 999 SPOILER, has this been mentioned yet? But it's just one letter, so of course there's a huge number of possible meanings.

Infinity, if you don't escape you will be stuck for infinity, no escape

Co is obviously Antarctic for 3

So yeah, this is pretty much ZE3. But in all seriousness, this is ZE3, there was never even one ounce of doubt in my heart

I also came here to say perhaps the C/Q is for clover and quark but seems you reached that all ready. May not necessarily mean it's VLR remake though...definitely stupid after this soon, mobile port perhaps more possible but I would think all they need to do at how SE handled the TWEWY mobile announcement to know that was a bad idea.
Clover looks like she'll be in ZE3, Quark not confirmed but possibly...

Confirm if I am wrong but (VLR HUGE SPOILERS)
I am pretty sure that unless he also uses the time machine that supposedly can bring bodies as well as consciousnesses to the past according to Akane that Alice and Clover decide to use at the end of VLR, which is unlikely given Tenmyoujl's decision to take a spaceship back to Earth, ZE3's supposed time setting (202X something IIRC) well predates Quark's birth (given that he was not even 15 in 207X (VLR's time setting) he can't presumably be born in 202X). So IMO Quark is not supposed to be in ZE3. We will likely get a mention somewhere if post-VLR Junpei is present (in consciousness for whatever reason) but given it predates his birth, I don't think the inclusion of Quark in ZE3 is plausible, if possible at all.

Sounds like a clue, I mean, why would they tell us to let them know whether if there will be "another proposal"? At their own panel? THEIR OWN PANEL OF A GSME THAT IS TO BE REVEALED?!

If this is really about character names, then Diana would make a lot of sense.

Within 24h, Aksys added 2 capital letters and Uchikoshi tweeted 1 capital letter, both without any other context. I think that's the strongest connection between the two parties so far, things are ramping up :)
