This episode was a lot like GaRei Zero episode 1 except it was ep12 here! :DDD
Clean slate, real protag takes the stage. I really like it...If this was on HBO, it would be called... A Game of Thrones! tahahhahah

Alright so my problem with this is that they wasted so much time for Inaho with no real payoff. There wasn't any real concise reason why Inaho was so emotionless nor payoff for all the school antics.

pretty dumb episode as usual but that ending, damn. #teamslaine #getrekt

I think that Saazbro took more time to transform than to lose the fight.

now that Inaho
is dead, earth is doomed since he was the only one left with a brain. reeep

they will clearly show flashbacks in the S2. will it make sense? No. or
he just comes back to life, easy.

Based Slaine. That is all.

Outside of battles they didn't spend much time on Inaho at all really. The show mainly followed Slaine and his conflicts as an "MC" more than him.

I don't see why anyone likes Slaine. He literally has a severe lack of personality or intellect.

Inaho had all of that. I really hope he isn't gone. Gonna suck without him.

Oh that's definitely not true. They spent time with Inaho talking with the princess, giving those reports and tactical advice, and talking with people like Inko. He got more screentime even outside the battles which had him as the star.

Please do not let me serve on a jury. I am actually a crazy person.
Oh, fuck off Slaine.
Officially worse than Suzaku.

Inaho will return as ROBOCOP.

Going by that epilogue Hime-sama might be alive, no headshots there...

Slaine has Aldnoah powers too, maybe he saves her there somehow.

edit: looks like that was headshot too baah

^ Woah there was an epilogue ?

The show is hilarious but it really doesn't make any sense. It's clear that princess was too late all those years ago and Slaine has sustained permanent brain damage.

Lol...Slaine... like a little girl with a tantrum fucking everything up :D They even gave him magical deus ex machina aldnoah powers and he not only couldn't achieve anything with it, he actually fucked everything up. Glorious :D
I wonder how the war will progress now that everybody competent on both sides is dead :D Hope the writers show balls make both deaths stick.

WHAT WAS THAT?

This is truly the VVV S1 of 2014, and i enjoyed this ride.

Marito TAI was useless ALL SEASON

HIME-sama is dead now, this is the third time that she is killed and she will be with it.

Inaho is dead too, nobody can't survive a wound like if, he was he MC we needed but not the one we deserve

Slaine escaped with the corpse, god knows why he did that.

SAUCEMAN saved slain from the NTR, because hime-sama was in love with inaho, now they are both dead and slaine can live a peaceful life.

Im pretty sure that S2 will have a big timeskip (just look at the name of ep12)

Interesting ending , I wonder if the rest of the characters will know that slaine shot everyone. If they do.. well I'm pretty sure the rest of the cast will try to kill him.

Huh? What did I say? Did I screw up again? :(
Slaine escaped with the corpse, god knows why he did that.

For the same reason he does anything: He thinks he means well but because he's unaware that he's a simping pile of waste, he's totally fuckin something up. The only thing I can guarantee about him stealing the body is that someone will die because of it at a pivotal moment. That's par for the course for our GOTY tool.

Kinda expected somewhat. It Gen Urubochi afterall.

Urobuchi hasn't written anything for this show since episode 3.

In fact, I wonder if this ending might be a way to transition to a new protagonist in season 2 created by the show's actual writer? Either a timeskip to a time where the situation will have a fairly different set up already, with an older Slaine somehow as the hero, or an actual new protagonist out of nowhere for season 2 and Slaine as an antagonist.

It was very scarce though, and all mostly shared with the princess. Not as much as Slaine got at least. After 12 the whole things feels like a set up for his backstory for when he becomes an antagonist in S2 or something. Inaho felt like a side character outside of battles.

Was there anything after the credits? Anyone else think the bullet hit her helmet and ricochet off And the blood on the ground was from her chest wound? Welp guess we will find out what happens in January...

hey I can be optimistic right?

Episode 12

Worst episode by far. Goddamn.
A gattai robotto? Come on now, that just ain't right in a show like this.

Pretty fantastic closing to a great arc. Looking forward to what adventures awaits Slaine in the next half and who else the Vers sends to try to take over the Earth, they didnt really show any other faces.

Inahos performance in that mech deserves commendation as well as Slaine's moment rising above and beyond the call of duty.

So is Rayet going to avenge Inaho
? :(

If they make Slaine the MC, I'm out. Terrible character that deserves NTR for the rest of his 12 episodes.

I think that the best part of the episode was when Slaine realizes that an enemy mech is poiting a huge rifle at him and he just takes out his gun and points it at him.

I laughed irl.

One of the Martian Kats is left. The one with long rang lasers piloted by the guy wearing glasses. Maybe they just axed him lol

Wow, Slaine. He's Suzaku from Code Geass times infinity without self righteous indignation. Most hateworthy protagonist in a while.

Episode 12

Since I've long since passed the point of caring about anyone in this show, this is like the best possible outcome. Total goddamn chaos.

Looking forward to watching Metal Gear Slaine in January.

yeah I also think the princess will live. There was no blood spurt when she got/appears to be shot in the head. Personally I think Inaho's death will be a huge problem between her and Slaine. But of course she has to find out and evenly if she is alive.

I wonder why Inaho pulled a gun on Slaine knowing he had a gun and wasn't in a position to confront him either. Dumb question I figure , but it out of character unless it was showing he had a lot of grief and acted that way. He did say that Slaine was enemy(possibly he figured he couldn't trust him because Slaine wasn't committed to one side when Slaine couldn't answer the question). Or for some reason he purpose did that so Slaine would shoot him , but don't even know why he would do that.

Because Slaine was going to kill him. It didn't matter if Inaho had or hadn't pulled out the gun.

Slaine is an indecisive little shiet, he doesn't know which side he should be and utterly fails at the end when the person he loved most ends up dying because of him.

Inaho knew which side he was on, Earth and Princess which the Martians betrayed. He did everything he could possible do to reach the peace end-game until Slaine (Suzaku) comes at the pivotal moment and messes everything up.

Really glad that Inaho straight up crawled to the princess before his final moments rather giving any attention to Slain and Saazbaum.

Because Slaine was going to kill him. It didn't matter if Inaho had or hadn't pulled out the gun.

I really didn't see that way because Slaine basically threatened to kill Inaho if he touched the princess and when Inaho pulled out a gun on him Slaine shot him at that moment. If Slaine wanted to kill Inaho he would have done it from the get-go during the time of the whole crash landing scene . Past episodes really didn't show him like he wanted to kill Inaho either. Or the writers probably didn't mean anything by it and shouldn't be taken at anything deeper.
