The Expanse |Book Series OT| Doors and corners, kid [SPOILERS]

Personally I'd rank them: Nemesis Games > Caliban's War > Leviathan Wakes > Abaddon's Gate > Babylon's Ashes > Cibola Burn.

Also, what do you guys think of the brazilian cover for the first book? I virtually always prefer them over the original ones:

I read about the half of the first book a year or so ago and stopped when it became gross.
After hearing it got better I jumped back into it and really enjoyed it.
Then I took a few months long break and started reading the 2nd book, got really into it and read it and the 3rd one back to back.
Really enjoying the series so far.

Now I started reading Cibola Burn and it's worrying that so many people think it's bad. That said, I'm glad that books 5 and 6 are supposed to be good again.

fwiw I enjoyed Cibola Burn more than I did book 5 or 6.

Publisher blurb for Persepolis Rising is out! Since the book isn't out until December 5 I'll spoiler tag it both in this post and the OP.

AN OLD ENEMY RETURNS

In the thousand-sun network of humanity's expansion, new colony worlds are struggling to find their way. Every new planet lives on a knife edge between collapse and wonder, and the crew of the aging gunship Rocinante have their hands more than full keeping the fragile peace.

In the vast space between Earth and Jupiter, the inner planets and belt have formed a tentative and uncertain alliance still haunted by a history of wars and prejudices. On the lost colony world of Laconia, a hidden enemy has a new vision for all of humanity and the power to enforce it.

New technologies clash with old as the history of human conflict returns to its ancient patterns of war and subjugation. But human nature is not the only enemy, and the forces being unleashed have their own price. A price that will change the shape of humanity -- and of the Rocinante -- unexpectedly and forever.
