Awww, so only a few episodes left until next year? I rather enjoyed it, even with its predictably cliche story and nonsensical behaviors of the characters.

I like the (mostly) brain over muscle mech battle, so rare these days.

The implications of the Deucalion's continued existence don't seem to have occurred to Saazbaum yet. Either he's being written as dumb, or so blinded by hatred and vengeance that he can't even acknowledge it.

Yeah, but that would rob of us of a climactic battle in which Lt. PTSD finally makes The Brave Deed and Yuki and/or Inko die a horrible death at the hands of Saazbaum and/or (accidentally) Slaine.
Slaine being painted as the villain prompting Asseylum to point the gun at him later on...oh my god that's gonna happen isn't it.
And he just got a mech :/
One step forward, two steps back straight off the cliff for Slaine.

Hail, peons, for I have come as ambassador from the great and bountiful Blueberry Butt Explosion
The last truly great mecha anime in recent times that comes to mind is Gundam 00. That was the shit.

Gundam Unicorn is awesome.

I'm still really liking the show. I thought episode 9 was good, and I figured Rayet was going to do something like this a while ago. I'm really interested to see if they make good on what happened, or if they pussy out of it.

Stranded in a tundra without communications setting out for the base via kataphrakts to help save the rest of them later. Would've been interesting but the princess is too heavily integrated into the plot for them to even consider it. Didn't care for Rayet's speech of repent either.

Since Gen helped to plan this series I was expecting them to somehow revive her, despite the brain damage and then find a way to cut her into pieces that would be still be someow alive, thus allowing humanity to start using the aldnoah engine :D

So does anyone honestly know how much of Gen's influence was put into this show? I mean I like the show but it doesn't feel like a Gen Urobuchi work in terms of plot progression.

There's only three things of this show that I find worth watching: Saazbaum, Slaine, and the music. Everything else is irrelevant compared to these three elements.

Honestly would not surprise me in the least, as ridiculous as that sounds. Wouldn't me surprise me either if Saazbaum's wife/fiancé survived and settled down with a Terran.

The possibly doesn't work. Inaho's parents supposedly died in Heaven's Fall, and he's 15, the same age as the princess. They were both born in the same year as Heaven's Fall. There wouldn't have been time for her to survive and start a family later on for the timeline to work. On the other hand, if she were already pregnant, and gave birth before she died after they recovered her along with the mech... hmmmm.

Either way, the answer probably lies with whoever brought up Inaho and his sister, since she would have been six during Heaven's Fall. With both parents dead, someone brought up them, probably someone connected to the military.

Episode 11

Pure action episode, so not a lot to talk about. Some of these lines are so hilarious though. Like when Inaho declares that he is probably the person with the most experience fighting Martians on the entire planet. Loool. Aside from the effects this week, the entire episode was completely outsourced to South Korean animators. Hashimoto did all the effect animations himself this week, and he said since he was only given a few days, he couldn't really give his 100%. Those dodgy non-CG decoy mechs at the end were probably his work too. Lol.

Looking forward to the season climax next week. Hopefully there's some great action. Before that I'll have to make an appointment with a doctor to see if I can do something about my ears though. They don't seem to work anymore. Thanks Sawano. :p

Aldnoah Zero ep 11

A Colony drop on a colony drop.
Batman Inaho laying the smackdown talk on the adults that they're useless and they should follow his orders since he the only one that have the most experience of whooping martian's asses. How in the blue fuck does a child maid able to drive a fucking humvee with pro driving skills and able to reach the pedal with her short legs?

How the plot treats Slaine continues to be hilariously suffering. He stays on the Landing Castle before deciding to head out to Earth, and then just barely misses the Princess and the rest, who then proceed to go to the Landing Castle he just left.

Episode 11

Nonstop action and things blowing up. Fun times. I kind of wish the way the ship arrived at the landing castle was presented in a more coherent way, but the rush to the ship and the air drop were great fun.

What happened to Rayet?

It was nice of Saaz-chan to not ram directly into the base and so rude of the Deucalion to not show the same courtesy. I see that Xzibit made an appearance on this page, so that job is done.

It was an entertaining episode. Not much else to say.

Maybe Slaine is the bumbling comedy character of the show and they just didn't make it obvious. They could start playing circus clown music whenever he appears.

Inaho will not only get the princess but his Cataphract too.

It was a fun and enjoyable episode but one that I think ended with a whimper instead of bang. Deucalion suicide ramming sequence felt like they run out of time/budget. As noted above the decoys looked off too.

Really liking the ED.

There is something about mecha battle in tight corridors that really appeals to me, I hope we get to see something.

This was a good opportunity to blow up Eddelrittuo for dramatic effect, missed.

'Princess 1' gotta be best call sign, although obviously dumb... oxygen masks sure look badass.

When Inaho got promoted to CINC? I missed that, well earned... LOL.

It's very entertaining still despite blah blah etc etc, I like this show. I can say it delivered overall for me. The waiting gonna be hard.

The soundtrack is largely terrible, though there were a couple of tracks like "as-inaho" from the OST that I don't think they've used at all yet that actually sound pretty good.

Enjoyable episode. The only thing that annoyed me was how annoying Yuki was this episode.

Mustang 33's death was hilarious.

Seems like the finale will be packed.

Episode 11

Well, that was a stupid plan. For once, the almighty Inaho has gotten on my nerves. Its pretty easy to spot the Deucalion lift off into space. I dont know why they didnt account for that.

Was that Saazbaums Kat against Rayet? Or another Orbital Knight?

Ugh at the battle music with vocals. Also, Slaine wtf bro. Why would you take your flimsy ass little ship instead of a beast Kat? Dummy.

I also noticed the low budget on this episode. The first 5 minutes or so were from the last episode. Giving me AoT flashbacks..*shudder*

Episode felt underwhelming but I'm still pumped for the finale next week. Hope there are some great fights and a clever solution to defeating Saazbaum and his LC. Loli maid x Rayet will be a fun pair to follow.

I really dislike how Saline keeps getting jobbed. Hopefully that will change soon, and in the second season he can take his place as the true protagonist of the show. #TeamSlaineForever

I have a feeling that Inaho will be piloting that extra Aldnoah that was given to Slaine, with the Princess Asseylum being a co-pilot to Inaho to power it up!

With this scenario the human's have a fighting chance!!!

#Inaho/Asseylum

Slaine in this episode? I mean, don't even bother to show him at this point, lol.

a 12 y old girl driving a military jeep, lool.

then the usual stuff, everyone being useless until Inaho explains his master plan, which sucked but it obviously worked. his sister being annoying the whole time etc.
//oh and that "I'm better than anyone on earth" line, loool.

of course a falling ship goes into this castle and it fits like a tetris block.

etc.

this fucking show,
nicolascageconfusedemotions.gif

I'm having fun at least.

I didn't mind Inaho being a badass in previous episodes and making everyone else seem incompetent, but them gathering around and relying on him to formulate their infiltration plan really hit it home.

worry not #TeamSlaine, Slaine gonna get his Kat next episode. But there is a catch...

It will be one of those shitty Terrran Kats. He's just going to see Eddel and go after her, ending up helping Rayet and her. They gonna ship the two in second half. Oh, and the characters are mirror of each other, Martian stuck on Earth, Terran stuck with Martians. I hope you like it #teamslaine. ahahahahahaha
