Aldnoah Zero Season 2 |OT| Inaho or Out, It's All The Slaine

I don't think they aren't 500 different mechs, but just one single mech occupying 500 different positions in spacetime.

So you wouldn't be able to simply duplicate infinite food because the food would disappear as its getting broken down...
Then you occupy both Earth and Mars at once and just teleport foodstuffs back to Mars. :p

I'm just assuming Asseylum gave her a rousing speech about how Slaine has gone bonkers and that they've got to save him together, or something.

Still doesn't make sense considering Lemeria's character. It depends if they ever show what happened after Lemeria pointed a gun at Asseylum. If they never show that and just move forward with "Lemeria joined forces with Asseylum because fuck yeah" without explaining what happened, then fuck this show and its crap writing. Heel turns are fine, but said heel turns have to at least make sense and fit the character.

I feel Aldnoah Zero will be a lot less aggravating to watch in one sitting than to wait week after week for it, but then again all shows are like that.

I'm assuming Blondie's purpose is to accidentally discover the Princesses and free them seeing as Slaine's base is so isolated.

Maybe the mech clones disappear after a while, that's why they are only summoned in battle instead of having a permanent army. That would make cloning resources useless.

Anyway, it took one episode for Slaine to lose in all fronts, what the hell.

I wonder why all those knights spend like 10 years (?) after Heaven's fall on the orbit of the moon, instead of going back to Mars. Clearly the length of the journey is not very taxing.

Huh? What did I say? Did I screw up again? :(
So while Slaine is trying to fuck everyone over (I remember all those posters who were like "he's doing it for the princess") for some stupid reason only his idiot brain can understand, Inaho-christ is dying for our sins by saving humanity while the evil eye destroys his brain :(

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
The martians thought the food looked so good on Iron Chef they just had to invade to get in on that.

Here I thought Lemrina was gonna unleash some kind of master stroke and screw Slaine over hard. Or just kill Seylum for real this time to show him she means business. But I guess with how she reacted after she couldn't do it before that wasn't gonna happen.

Instead we're just doubling down on him being a dick. Well okay, I'm fine with that.

I want everyone dead by the end. Except Inko.
I wouldn't mind this. Wonder how Slaine will react to finding out his ground troops have been wiped out. He really has only Harklight left unless the Lemeria thing I mentioned earlier turns out to be true.

Also, what kind of show introduces a new character 3 episodes from the end.

Yeah, I was shaking my head at that one.

He'll basically just be Count Cruhteo if he hadn't died. I'm guessing he finds the Princesses and allies with them after finding out about everything and they go ham on Slaine.

The only one who deserves to live is
no one in this show

I want everyone dead by the end. Except Inko.

Slaine's
love life has gotten his united orbital knights strike force wrecked. So much for a beach head. I'm glad Yuki got a kill

The best ending we can hope for.

It'll end with Slaine dead and Inaho in a vegetative state in a wheelchair being pushed around by Asseylum.

A world with everlasting peace, no sadness, no worry. Slaine sama, not even a 5 years old will fall for this.

I kinda want to see Inaho fail he's too perfect. I mean I get he't the MC but it's getting a bit ridiculous.

But his perfect-ness is actively frying his brain at the moment. One or two more heavily taxing uses of his god-eye seems to be a one-way ticket to laalaa-land. Though I guess the martial healing-jar could probably fix even that, considering how badly Asseylum was hurt before. They'll dance around each other forvever, alternating between who spends the time in the jar :p

Episode 20-21

Finally caught up with the Slaine Saga. Glad to see my homeboy rekting things good and putting those princesses where they belong. Nothing must stand in the way of the great Lord of Mars. All will bow before him! Smelly Inaho is already feeling the pressure of fighting against this great man, and soon his eye will explode before he can stop the New Vers from being birthed on the Earth!

ALL HAIL SLAINE-SAMA!

These episodes were kinda boring and there's no way the show will be wrapped up in a satisfying manner in the remaining 3 episodes. We're either getting a movie after this, or a terrible ending. Welp! Was fun while it lasted!

Slaine, you arrogant son of a bitch. Not even the Princess can get through to this Hitler in the making. Inaho, please put a bullet in Slaine's eye. Just make sure he actually dies.

Lol...Slaine somehow turned into even more delusional fool. Everlasting peace and no worry...lmao.

I hope Inaho will kill that scum before his brain gets fried.

I really liked this episode. When Slaine asked about meaning of war, that was clear reference to what Inaho taught Asseylum. To be completely honest, even though she couldn’t shot Slaine - I love OG princess after this episode. We see how Inaho influenced her idealistic demeanor. She accepted his way of thinking (which you could call – grounded/realistic/slightly cynical) but still – was able to completely reject warmongering BS Slaine was trying to pull.

Also, I disagree with the notion that left eye is frying Inaho’s brain. If that was the case to even slightest extent – he would instantly end up vegetable. What’s happening – is as he told Inko in episode 2 – he’s feeling more and more pain since he doesn’t use pills. Pain is more apparent after he extended neural link.

Also for people who think ANZ will end up with sad/unfulfilling ending – I beg to differ. There is no manga (which is usually responsible for unfulfilling part). Now the ‘sad’ part – there is trend in anime to not have happy ending (since it’s more mature/realistic this way), but when you see popularity polls – SAO is so high for a reason. It might sound childish or whatever but I believe most people would like to see happy ending. Also – I’m pretty sure Aniplex learned from Guilty Crown ending debacle.

People tend to think Inaho will die, but I personally believe that’s not the case. Writing on the wall seems to be way too apparent, and one think we all should have learned about ANZ is that to expect unexpected (season 1 finale anyone?). Only 3 episodes left… dunno how will they ramp this up, but if there are plans for season 3, Inaho-being-a-martian theory might finally come into play.

I'm sure there will be happy ending for everybody. Inaho will beat martians and then marry the princess, creating one galactic empire, thus realizing Slaine's dream for peace ;)

So you think it will have a happy ending because people like happy endings and SAO has a happy ending even though the only thing these two series have in common is that Aniplex produces it?

Cant inaho just get the wing zero or epyon and really take his precog powers to the next level. He can't carry those scrubs anymore in that same old orange unit

No, I think this series *might* get happy ending because lately it's more original to actually get one. I believe people in general prefer happy endings.

On the sidenote - I do think good ending was major asset for SAO and made this series more enjoyable to watch. I still remember debacle after Guilty Crown ending. That wasn't maybe on Mass Effect 3 level, but the only thing people were talking for many weeks - was how it took half the episode to fk rather enjoyable serie.

Lastly - as I said, ANZ taught us to expect unexpected, and when all signs seems to be pointing into disaster, I think there is legit hope for bitter-sweet ending at least.

I'm entertaining this theory that he is plotting something with the aldnoah unit they recovered from Count Mazuurek's unit. I don't think it has been addressed anywhere whether Inaho got only a single activation right with his interactions with Asseylum.

Ofc, that does go against the general tone of the series, Inaho being a god despite his low-tech mech. Putting him in something like the Dioscuria would spell the immediate destruction of all Martial forces within the week.
