Alien-Looking Skeleton Poses Medical Mystery

I thought I was looking at a toy or what were those things call? Some Mexican (South American?) skeleton thing. Sorry, I don't remember the name.

So, this is just a fake, right? I refuse to believe that's real. It's too freaky.

Anyways, why does the body look so strange?

Preliminiary finds indicate its DNA is human. So... how could it be fake?
Probably some serious developmental disorders.

Fully adult humanoid.

Greer’s presentation can be more than a bit biased, at times, toward belief in the extraterrestrial component regarding UFOs. And of course, his meditative remote-viewing sessions for purposes of creating CE-5 “encounters” borders on being outright kooky. And yet, when presented with possible evidence of the imposible, he also managed to raise funding for proper scientific testing, and then released his findings, to date, in a documentary film. Arguably, this is more than most in the field have managed to achieve, and thus perhaps it warrants a suspension of our disbelief until further scientific information can be presented about the final determination on the Atacama Humanoid.
Probably the most poignant aspect to this story yet.

Wait, wasn't Zapages juniored for posting this news last year?

Zapages is redeemed and should get full posting privileges back.

Check the second link in my edit. The fake looks just like it.

"So, supposedly the little critter is a human child, at least 6 years old, and only six inches long. This sounds almost as implausible as an ET."

Yeah, that's complete bullshit.
It being a deformed human child is much, much more likely than it being ET (which it isn't).
Some random blog's opinion is not worth rat's ass.

CornBurrito is pointing to the documentary by some guy about this skeleton which is kind of sensationalist with talk of aliens and UFO. That does not invalidate the actual findings though imo.

Eh you're right. I'll retract my statement. Though why hasn't the guy submitted his results to any notable journal?

The guy who found the thing thinks it's an alien, yeah. He turned it over to actual legit scientists, who were not shocked to discover, nope, not an alien, but a bit shocked to discover it's actually an incredibly tiny human child. Which is totally interesting.

Edit: I don't know if the guy that did the documentary actually found the thing or not, I haven't watched the documentary, since it's...ya know, bull.

More edit:

I also hate that they titled the article with the word Alien to get more people to click, but it also makes other sorts dismiss the entire thing out right WITHOUT clicking. They should have gone with 'Tiny human skeleton' instead.

Probably a deformed 6 year old E.T. child that shares ancestry with humans, whom the E.T.s transplanted here. Probably...

People need to stop just looking at the pictures and rolling their eyes and read the damned article.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I just remember this same thing from a few years ago and how some kids found the exact same kind of alien. Later it was discovered it was rubber or something.

Read the article. Seriously. It's not a toy, nor is it made of rubber, NOR IS IT AN ALIEN.

It's being researched by legit scientists, who say DNA testing has concluded that it's in fact, human, and was 6-8 years old when it died. And is freaking tiny.

So I would guess early 2000s.

Well, there were the 'hobbits' they found on that island a few years back, but this is waaaaaaaaayyyyyy smaller than that, and don't have the whole 'island shrinkage' thing to explain them.

Homo florensiensis would be its name. Found on small islands in Indonesia. But, as you said, they were much bigger than that: usually around 3-4 feet. They also had pretty proportional bone structure and didn't display the abnormal features this little fella did.

Hmm I wonder if maybe it lived inside the mother for 6 years until she pooped it out? So it was never actually "alive" but just kinda stopped growing in the womb?? Either way freaky...

Yeah, I find them to be fascinating as well. I love interesting aberrations in humans. Homo forensiensis can be explained though, quite easy, due to living on a tiny island. This one is going to come down to some serious genetic defects, or something weird in the mummification process that shrunk it. Is that possible? To shrink a whole person like that?

Edit: Ooh, that's a possibility too, a pregnancy that never was. A stone baby maybe? But those tend to just look like tumors with baby features.

Yeah, Homo floresiensis had a similar case to the pygmy elephant - did not have the resources to sustain a large body, so over time the smaller individuals who did not need as much food survived. It's the pinnacle of human evolution in terms of natural selection. I, too, find it interesting (bio major).

Mummification generally causes the individual to shrink, and the head looks like a result of some autosomal mutation. So it could be that plus dwarfism plus the mummification that mutated it to such a level.
