I mean yeah. Aloy looks great.
Aloy is great.
Most of all, she doesn't have brown hair, she doesn't wear some green/grey/brown shirt/jacket and pants. She has a distinct design that makes you say "that's Aloy".
I think people are at times obsessing too much about beauty (I mean, there's enough room for ugly, beautiful and titillation in the game industry. Diversity is pretty nice.) and often exaggerating about faces, but there's also developers/artists seemingly trying hard to avoid beauty as well, either by intent or by incompetence. When it comes to Bethesda I assume incompetence, because they've struggled with males as well. With ND, I'd lean on a mix of being unimaginative and trying to be contrarian in an incompetent way.
