We even predicted before the launch that 5070ti gonna be card to get from whole 50xx series, ofc provided u get it at/close to msrp, 16gigs of vram and performance above 9070xt/on pair with older 4080s/7900xtx + rt capabilities/dlss4 actually make a difference with this card, its actually strong enough for u to take advantage and enjoy all new nvidia features(maybe not fake frames, fuck that, but everything else 4sure).Because stuff like this. The value proposition of the 9700xt greatly diminishes above $700, I got a 5070ti this week from Newegg for $840. So yeah the media slamming the Nvidia and celebrating AMD are out of context because the retail msrp launch price of both didn't hold. The education of the PC gaming public isn't what it use to be, IMO. People watch videos, but don't do the proper analysis of the differences vs price points. Now I am not saying that the 9700xt cant be more valuable than the 5070ti, in certain outlier setups, i.e. Bazzite for example in current form, the 9700xt is the way to go. So yeah they flexibility in certain circumstances may be worth more to certain individuals.

Now if we compare 5070ti at 900$ https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zc...deo-card-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-16g-ventus-3x-oc vs 513$ streetprice of 5060ti https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RM...-video-card-rtx-5060-ti-16g-ventus-2x-oc-plus (US market, both cheapest models i could find) 5070ti makes more sence value wise since its 75% faster on avg for 76% more price(yes even at 900$ streetprice, if u get it for cheaper its even more value) which usually is unprecended while comparing low to midrange product in the same gpu family.
4060ti to 4070tisuper was 2x pricer at 75% performance increase but that wasnt too terrible deal either coz u got 2x vram amount, jump from 8gigs to 16 was massive, so again, it was worth it too.
TLDR: Im not even saying 5070ti or previously 4070ti super were amazing deals, just simply compared to terrible deals we got with 4060ti or now 5060ti(price wise) those were actually much better options.
