Not only that but she just realized: oh shit, retarded people are the ones voting on this thing and i might actually be fucked...TurtleSnatcher said:God America.. why are you so stupid.
Toddrick - Correct he sucked
Kaitlyn - She was okay.. but Paige has been consistenltly MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Aaron - I guess he was bad but man not Tim Urban or little country boy with spikey hair bad..
Lilly - WHAT THE FUCK. The other girl knew she shoulda been gone.. wtf..
So mad.. so so mad..
God damnit.
Crystal + Lee in top 2 is my guess.
Also lol @ Crystal. She has like 0 emotion and always knows shes gonna get in.. then when others get to the stools shes like "Yea whatever.. sit down".. but man when Lilly got kicked off.. you saw her face instantly hit sadness.. You can tell they were close friends cuz of their oddness guitar stuff.

Revenge of judges stupid comments.
It goes to show that America doesn't always buy what TBTB want to pimp.
What happened to Lilly is that some of the girls that were on the out improved last night.
While she, apparently too confident that she'd be safe, gave a largely forgettable performance of a largely forgettable song in the pimp slot.
JCX said:Tim, Crystal, and Mike are still here.
It is most shocking that someone in the pimp spot went out. Not counting finales, that's like the second or third time that has ever happened.
What the hell are Katie and Aaron even going to sing during Rolling Stones week?
I guess I'll only look forward to Siobhan and Crystal now.
Diffense said:Crystal and Mike were quite good on the last performance shows.
Lilly, on her performance night, did not inspire anything except indifference; that was her problem.
Even a momentary train wreck (like Paige) can get people to vote more furiously for their faves.
More people go out for having an OK night than having either a terrible or a great one.
Why would you take Crystal's guitar away? She'll just play her guitar 100% of the time, like Kris Allen did.offtopic said:None of the people eliminated deserved to go yet. Katelyn and Todrick had the most potential of the four (most charisma and raw vocal ability) but their performances were uneven. Lily and Alex performed OK but didn't have as much talent (lily one trick pony and alex looking scared and robotic).
This season is disappointing so far. I don't see anyone who could even dream of cracking the top 3 or 4 of last season. Where it the musicianship, stage presence, or vocal ability of a lambert, allen or iraheta? At this point allison (4th place last season) would just absolutely crush the current field on her way to victory.
Someone needs to step up. Siobhan has the potential to do so with a lot of the "IT" factor and suprisingly awesome vocal talent (by far the best pure vocalist remaining). Crystal is good at what she does but what happens when we take the guitar away and add in theme nights...might get ugly quick. Didi...maybe something there but needs to show she isn't a quirky one trick pony. Mike...solid performer but looks to already be at his ceiling which is far from spectacular (in all areas).

Its not arguable. By any overall technical measure he destroys everyone who has done Idol. Arguably he can sing better than almost anyone in the last 50yrs of popular music. People might not like his tone or his antics (code for gayness) or the way he presents the music (more code for gayness but other subjective factors enter as well). Jaws drop when he sings...other people just can not do what he does.krypt0nian said:Yes they should have voted the one with arguably the most vocal talent in Idol's history off early.

Won't prefer her to anyone else based on the fact that she 'needs it' but like her personality, stage presence and singing ability so far.casual_alcoholic said:Hey everyone, just jumping into this thread for the first time. Siobhan's actually one of my close friends, so this is really awesome watching her get so far. She's had a really tough life, so she really needs this. She's an absolutely amazing person, easily one of the coolest and nicest people I've ever met. Please vote for her! Going over the thread you guys already seem to like her, so that's good.

OuterWorldVoice said:One thing that always makes me nuts is "disparagement by Karaoke" - as in "yo dawg, that sounded like a Karaoke performance dawg."
They're completely losing track of the idea that what America wants to see is a regular person, who maybe DID only do Karaoke, and isn't a former child-actor, or professional band singer. Someone who hid their light under a bushel and is an undiscovered talent.
It's fucked. They're eventually going to do casting instead of auditions.
MIMIC said:Yes, a person who only did karaoke but is a zillion times BETTER than most of the people out there doing karaoke. After all, they're competing for a $1 million record deal. They're looking for a person who sounds flawless on pop (Jordin, Kelly); a person with a great voice and an incredible interpreter of lyrics (Kris, David C.); a person with a unique, soulful edge (Fantasia); a huge, sensationally powerful voice (Carrie). All these people won and are LEAGUES ahead of every single contestant in this year's season. Even the people who didn't come in 1st or 2nd but got signed anyway (Elliott Yamin, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Tamyra Gray, etc.) completely annihilate this season's crop talent-wise.
In any other season, only 2 or 3 people from this season would have been considered good enough to even make the top 24. This season has definitely been a karaoke contest. And so far, a karaoke contestant hasn't received a recording contract (and if they did, they were dropped).
Gary Whitta said:Bowersox is the only sensible choice for winner this year. Right?
Kris only didn't play guitar like once, and that was because they weren't allowed to in the first week.offtopic said:Kris played piano, guitar and went without either. At this point Crystal doesn't appear to match his talent as an overall singer/musician.
Aside from Bowersox and and maybe Garcia I think this is by far the weakest Top 12 the show has ever had. Many of these chumps wouldn't have even made the Top 24 in most previous seasons.
ToxicAdam said:Christ, Kesha is going to be on the results show this week.
It's a pretty bad top 12, but I think season three is still the worst:
La Toya London
Amy Adams
Matthew Rogers
Camile Velasco
Jon Peter Lewis
Fantasia Barrino
George Huff
Jennifer Hudson
John Stevens
Leah LaBelle
Jasmine Trias
Diana DeGarmo
I know Hudson is now a huge deal. But she was very unpolished on her AI season. Crazy eyes and bad song selections.
Eliot Yamin, Chris Daughtry, Katherine McPhee were all decent that year, although I personally didn't much care for McPhee.Speevy said:Umm...Taylor Hicks' season? Fantasia, LaToya, and Hudson alone make that list better than your average season.
Jordin herself was pretty good, and Blake Lewis was definetely entertaining the whole way through. Melinda was the feel-good contestant that year. That wasn't a bad season, just nobody particularly relevant came of it.Speevy said:Okay fine, then the year Jordin Sparks won.
No one can disagree that this was the worst one.
