MLS Cup Playoffs 2014, presented by AT&T schedule:

Conference Knockout Round

Wed-Thurs, Oct. 29-30

Conference Semifinals

Leg 1, Sat-Sun, Nov. 1-2
Leg 2, Sat-Sun, Nov. 8-9

Conference Championships

Leg 1, Sat-Sun, Nov. 22-23
Leg 2, Sat-Sun., Nov. 29-30

MLS Cup Final

3 pm ET, Sun., Dec. 7

So much better! The better team will actually have a home leg on the weekend. I don't see why there's a one week gap between the semis and the conference championships.

No Dom Dwyer or Collin starting. Kronic is back in goal and Bieler is up top with EPB on defense. This should be interesting.

Hadn't looked at all the groups for abit:

  • SKC can win, draw, or lose by not more than four and we go through.
  • Portland is on the same boat but the can lose by not more than six.
  • Montreal has basically already won their group, but...
  • NYRB's need to get in business but still have an outside shot
  • DC's probably going to win their group too.

So we could have 4 MLS group winners. Good stuff.

But how many will get wrecked by Liga MX teams =.=

We're in the driver's seat. We just need two wins by any amount to get the group. We should trounce FAS. Monteal's A team beat our B team 1-0 at home

Alright maybe not so easy.

These are the tie-breakers

– Head-to-head points
– Head-to-head goal difference
– Head-to-head away goals
– Overall goal difference
– Overall goals scored
– Overall away goals

So if Montreal scores a goal at RBA we need to win 3-1

it is all about how you get seeded in the knock out rounds.

NYCFC takes Discovery Ranking, apparently accidentally. Jason Kreis read the list wrong. Will he get a do-over?

MLS official Todd Durbin rules that NYC FC has to keep the Discovery ranking, allows Orlando City to snag priority for NASL-USL Pro picks

NYCFC already screwing up

Ream on the bench for Bolton and Gyau on the bench for Dortmund today.

Oof, if y'all get Racer 5 and a Mission Burrito stand in the stadium I'll be beyond jealous.
I want to be able to buy a $20 Pliny even though I never would spend that much at the game.

In debut for Bor. Dortmund (subbed in at '74), US int'l Joe Gyau completed 8/9 passes (1 key pass) and tied for game high w 2 succ. dribbles
Sounds like he played well. Wasn't out of place and hopefully will get more time in the future.

So as some of you may know the US mens Paralympic soccer team played today in Toronto as part of the AmericasCup. I go to UofT and they actually played here on campus. I stopped by and watched the game after class today. They lost 2-1 to Argentina in the semifinals, but it was fun to watch for sure! I am glad I watched it.

Canada plays Brazil right now I believe if any Canadian fans are in the area :D

Bench - Castano, Kimura, Miazga, Stevenson, Alexander, Bover, Obekop

Fuck FOX for putting RedBull vs FAS behind a goddamn paywall. They aren't even showing anything live on FOX Sports 2, there's no reason they can't show it there. They better not pull this shit with the World Cup.

He did. Although if you can run and dribble, Klopp will make you look damn good. Sometimes you don't even need to dribble (Aubameyang)

On the other hand, Hamburg has yet to score in the BuLi after 5 matches. Sorry Julian. ;-;

Looks like the team is playing cautiously on that turf.

Eckersleys been flying down the left

Sene needs to move. No movement off the ball
