It's okay. I'm actually sorry I missed your first request. I'm kind of weak still from my cancer. Even though I'm in remission, my body is physically weak and tired. So I sometimes fall asleep during the day. I go to bed really early. And sleep in. So I really apologize if I miss anyone's avatar requests. Please feel free to PM me if no one does your avatar and if I ever miss requests in this thread. :D

You're lucky then, because My Sister tried to find Little Mac at three different TRU around here at release and days after and had no luck at all.

Then you have the exclusives this time around, and Gamestop seems to be pretty much only fulfilling preorders for the time being from what people have reported from managers.

Damn, gutted I missed Wario on GAME earlier - have all the other new waves pre-ordered with them. Hopefully I'll catch him when he's up on ShopTo.

I also have a spare WFT or two up for trade in case anyone ends up with a spare Shulk or Meta Knight.

I didn't mean like legit release day, but when people started posting they would find them in the wild.

I'd be far too nervous to try that around where I live, but I mean yeah if you've had luck getting all of them in stores then I can totally see why you wouldn't worry about it.
 
I've added a C.I.S.o.R.Canadians In Search of Rosalina on the Community Google Doc. It's at the bottom of the sheet. Should say "Sheet 2" a tab on the bottom of the Google Doc. Click it over, and you will see the list of people that are in Canada looking for it.

I've only added one section "Extra Rosalina to trade/sell Location:"

But if you guys want me to edit that out, or add another sub-section, let me know. If you need access to the Google doc, PM me your gmail to edit it (to add yourself to the list). If you don't have a gmail but just want access to the doc, PM your username and location (in Canada) and I'll add you to this new list.

Please don't post the link publicly though as I don't have permission of the community to post the link publicly.

Hi everyone. I would like to thank everyone that has entered the contest. I also want to express my extreme gratitude for the winner's or anyone that makes a donation for Arthritis. This really shows what a great community this is.
This is personal because this disease has taken everything from me. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis. I used to be 6ft and I'm now 4ft 5inches. My neck has bent so far forward that I am classified as legally blind when walking. I'm up to 18 hours a day in bed now. All of this because of one word. Arthritis.
Thank you again for taking the time to enter the contest. A very big thank you to Jason for doing all the heavy lifting. He did a great job and I will always be thankful for his help.
 
To my canadian friends, Rosalina is not exclusive down here on Mexico since there is no targets, so the exclusivity deal might be for the United States only, maybe soon enough you get a chance to preorder rosalina somewhere over there.

Edit: To hunchback, arthritis sucks man, my dad suffers from it because of his Gout (That I have a 50% chance to inherit and terrifies me) and I see him in constant pain due to it, its really hard. I wish you the best and its great the contest has been a success so far! Never stop fighting, we are here for you!

Rosalina is currently the only exclusive that Canada may not have access to. So that should be enough. If by chance she does ship to the Targets that are shutting down here, that list should decrease a fair bit (hopefully). Then again, if she's released here people may look to scoop her up even quicker since she'd be REALLY rare here.

My last amiibo purchase for a bit, but i finally got my Falcon from a guy with the last bit of Paypal credit i had sitting around. Got here super quick too, really happy! Now i just need Little Mac and my Wave 2 force will be complete

I spoke about her exclusivity before (either here or on the Canadian thread). Being a Target exclusive for both Canada and the US, the card of the figure likely has a "Only at Target" stamp on it. All that product was intended for Target stores. If they're no longer shipping them to Canada, they'll re-route them to the Target stores in the states. They'd have to. They're not going to ship these back to the factory to get new cards put on them. If Mexico is getting them and they're not listed as Target exclusives, that'd mean that they have an allotted amount without the Target stamp. Or...and let's hope...they don't have the Target stamp at all. But I have a hard time believing Target wouldn't insist on that.

A quick ebay search in the toy section for the phrase Target Exclusive, proves the point. Most if not all of their exclusive toys, have that stamp.

As others have said, hang in there! There are many people here and elsewhere that have a heart for supporting people with diseases like this one. I wish you the best as you continue your struggle.

But isn´t that stamp added after they ship by Target itself? If so many toys and exclusives from different companies have the same stamps, I think its fair to assume Target itself adds it, not Nintendo.

Can someone confirm this?

My experience with toys...it's on the card itself created at the factory. It's not a sticker. And there's no way Target would put a sticker on each and everyone. It'd be done at the factory that's producing the toy. But even if there was a sticker, this close to release, they'd already be over here and not at the factory. Nobody is going to be hired to peel stickers off of thousands of figures.

For the most part, I don't pre order them. Although if someone in the UK wanted a Little Mac then a pre-order would have been vital because I think he might be the rarest amiibo here (I've at least seen a WFT, Kirby and Villager and own a Marth). And amiibo like Shulk, Robin and the third parties (except maybe Sonic) will probably be scarce as well.

Yes, I remember. I get a lot of PMs (especially since I run the Google doc and get requests all the time). I also got a massive out pouring of support. I've read every message, sometimes it's a lot things get lost ,messages blend into the next. But I appreciate you offering that to me.

I've seen a few toys r us exclusives with the 'r exclusive sticker on it and I think the marvel legends 3 pack has a only at target sticker. Neither of them were printed on the box. So it could very well just be exclusive only in the states

A search for Toys R Us exclusives shows both the stamp being on the card, and as a sticker on the bubble. BUT...again...if it's a sticker they have two options (assuming they aren't sending them to the stores in Canada). Re-route them to the stores in the states, or peel off stickers. They're not going to peel off stickers.

You'd think with just two weeks until February, NoA would have clarified the ammibo situation by now especially Rosalina for Canada.

I bought a couple amiibo there as gifts during the holiday season and they come right off with no hassle or residue. They also don't put the stickers on pre-ordered amiibo fwiw.

Those stickers are the God damned worst.

Luckily the manager at my GameStop is a pretty close friend of mine, and he knows to not put a sticker on my amiibo. :)

Now that I have Rosalina, Lucario, and Meta Knight pre ordered from Amazon Japan, I no longer have to stress about Wave 3. I have the other 8 pre ordered at GameStop who always makes sure I receive the amiibo I pre ordered. Now to start freaking out over Wave 4, haha.
