Think I need to find a better/bigger size of those sparkles (is that what they're called?). I'm okay at using paint.net when it comes to making/editing avatars, but it might make it easier if I could split them up & be able to size each side individually.

For those who normally do them, how do you resize the sparkles to fit?

Photoshop
 
I just use Word and Paint. Quick and easy
unless it's a non-sprite-based transparent avatar in which case Azula is the king
.

I use gimp, which is free.

(This was a little wonky, right ended up bigger. No idea why. But you can scale them down).

You can of course, crop them and make your own sizes.

Yours is tricky because your avatar bumps right up against the side. So there isn't a lot of room. Probably why your original sparkles were that small.

If you notice, if I spaced the bigger sparkles above to the left anymore, it would be cut off as it can't fit in the ratio. So that's why the bigger one is closer towards the head, as opposed to on the side.

Yeah, I had trouble fitting mine in because of how close it is to the left side, which makes it hard for me to edit stuff on top of it like hats. The way you did it looks much better, thank you.

Wish I could do more. But yeah, there isn't anymore room to do it. I think angling the sparkles makes it look better with it that close in.

IS there a bigger version of your avatar that could be re-sized into the 100x120? Or does it always bump up against the edge?

I cropped it out of a comic. This is the best I could find in terms of original image size (gotta scroll about 1/3rd down to find the panel).

The way you made it works perfectly well, though.
 
Okay, wow, pretty much all the amiibos I want to pre-order I'm out of luck on. All the stores around me only get like 3 or 4 of the non-Mario and Zelda stuff.

I think they look better in terms of the quality. But they did end up slightly smaller than the one you have (only way to fit it all in the avatar ratio without stretching or compressing.
 
I also got the Walmart delay emails for Bowser and Megaman. I'm taking that as a great sign that they will all ship.
 
So, I opened pre-orders at my store in Tjuana yesterday for Wave 4 and closed preorders a while ago for Wave 3, I wanted to share since its a fun hindsight to the situation here.

I'm not sure if Amazon is just going nuts right now, but the fact that Fox amiibos can be restocked and then have said stock depleted in 8 MINUTES is absolutely fascinating to me
 
i got a pre-order alert for Toad but it was a misfire. Wonder if it means anything? Amazon about to put that wave up for pre-order or...?

Anyways, I'm off for a rest. Spend 2 hours doing avatars. Just got done doing a marth one for 40 min because I messed up the shadows. It was a mess getting it right. lol now my eyeballs feel like they are bleeding. Staring ttoo much at the screen.

Been collecting for a while, but in Canada... missed out on Shulk preorders, and Lucario and Rosalina there haven't been preorders for us.

Frustrating! However... I have an extra amazon.de Falcon coming in. Yay me. Anyone wanna trade?

PM me your gmail, and I'll add you to the google document. It lists all the members on here and shows what amiibos they need, and which ones they have extras. Just go up and down the list and maybe PM someone?

Accident on my part. I was resizing it & I was off by ONE pixel, so instead of transparent, it was white, but it's fixed now.
