I randomly got this guy in a bag with some of the old ToyBiz Mario Kart figures at a thrift store for under $10 last fall. :)

He fits in great with all of the Word of Nintendo, SH Figuarts, & Figma Nintendo figures I've picked up thus far.

There's going to be a Blue Toad in Series 2 of the World of Nintendo line too:

Didn't I already say you could have a FOX? I can't remember. Damn. I put aside both Fox for two members. One just gave it up. I think you were already the second person? I need to look through my posts. I mean, yeah it's yours either way. But that might mean I still have 1 Fox up for grabs if you were already promised it.

Yeah, now that I think about it, the game being 29.99 probably made it an easy decision for many people.

HERE IS THE NEWS in the past 2 days

* New Egg put up pre-order pages for Wave 4, with Coming Soon / Auto Notify.

* No NA retailer has taken pre-orders for Wave 4.

* GAME UK / EB Games Aus + Japanese Sites did Wave 4 Pre-orders (and already sold out).

* Some random Gamestop manager claims Monday is pre-orders for Wave 4 in NA.

* Wal Mart sent out email delaying Mega Man and Bowser to Feb 6th. Supposedly some Amiibos are Feb 6th and not the 1st. Shulk MIGHT be Feb 20th at GS, no confirmation. (This could just be Wal Mart and not all retailers. But it's troubling either way. We might have a mess of a release schedule for Wave 3).

* Rosalina is ready to be put on sale Feb 1st at Target (employees posted that their shipments are on track to be there Jan 30th, ready to sell Feb 1st. Some stores are even getting shipments now. A couple stores have Rosalina pegs set up on the shelves).

Haha awesome how everyone has the amiibo markings around the avatars. Haven't been paying much attention to the amiibo scene recently since I needed a break after picking up my Pit, but I'm already going crazy again checking Gamestop and Amazon just to know when Wave 4 goes up for Preorder. I CAN"T Miss out on Ness, CAN"T

Its mostly thanks to Azula and Diggeh that we all have them amiibo lights. They are pretty awesome.

Alright, so, I've been looking back over the last few pages trying to find anything, and I've been out of the loop for a little bit... is there any news about more Rosalina figures? Or did they all really get scooped up by that guy?

Wait what? Why would Wal Mart have info on what Gamestop doing with Shulk? I hope that's not true, Megaman and Shulk releasing on different days means I have to make 2 trips to gamestop. =/

Same here I first zelda collectible I've missed since Zelda 1 NES :(.

I also still think there will be an unannounced secret use of amiibo in Majoras Mask can't put my finger really on why I think that but it seems like something they would do.

The Feb 20th thing didn't come from Wal Mart, I just rolled it into there. That said you are right, I don't know if Shulk is the 20th in NA. In EU and elsewhere he is. I had read I think on reddit and a friend told me their GS manager buddy claims that its also the 20th here. But that is vague second hand knowledge at best. I shouldn't have posted that bit.

The point I guess I was making is that the the dates are a mess and now scattershot. That said, even the Feb 6th Wal Mart dates could just be related to Wal Mart and not everyone else. So maybe for most stores, all Amiibos are out Feb 1st in the NA?

There's a chance it could be Walmart only. I recall going into Walmart to see if they had any Wave 2s, but they didn't have anything set up for them. They still had pegs for WFT, Villager, and Marth, even.

Ah. So maybe Walmart just had delays in their own personal shipping. That would make sense. It happens. That actually makes more sense, then it being a world wide shift in release date. Like...why the 1st and the 6th? Makes zero sense.

Unless it was like, an issue that impacted shipping to all stores.

Before Target was in Canada, they had an exclusive Skylander that wasn't released here. That was Activision of course, but I suspect Nintendo will behave similarly, likely due to contract terms.
 
Good morning my fellow amiibo aficionados!

Today the focus of my hunt changes more towards finding a display case. I haven't quite decided if I want a smaller one for my desk, or large one that can fit more than just my growing collection of amiibos. I may hit IKEA since they always seem to have interesting furniture and the like.

Good luck! That was my plan for the day too, but icy road conditions have put my hunt on hold this morning ;_;
