I did it for Marth from Nippon Yasan. It was worth it for me because I didn't need him urgently. Took a while to get, and in the back of my mind I always wondered if he would actually arrive.

sphinx that photo is amazing but also makes me green with envy. Imagine...being able to pick up any amiibo at any given time.

I also wish my game stores were better since they only command about a third of what you have in that photo there currently.

Did the same but with WFT instead. Was worrying but she got here just fine and was impeccably packaged to boot.

Now I have Rosalina, Meta Knight, Shiek and Bowser coming in from Japan in SAL unregistered packages. Don't need any of them right away and I'm cheap and confident they'll get here :)

Marth was wrapped in a Japanese store ad, which is always fun. Wii u and amiibo were advertised!

you guys wanting those amiibos in the Pic, I plan on going very often to hamburg since I have a friend there I want to see often.

I can bring two empty gym bags and easily get out of there with 15-20 amiibos and send them to the US and CAN, I've been doing it for a while actually, I must be in my 6th positive feedback in the BST,

some amiibos are easily obtainable in a nearer stores here in my city. (that Hamburg store is 1.5 hours away from where I live)

I sometimes have a hard time understanding when something is needed from me here.

Sometimes amazon.de itself will put the holy trinity and other stuff for sale and then I am not needed since that's everybody's best bet to get those.

Other times, amazon.de.fr.it offer only third party sellers which generally have exorbitant shipping fees, There I can help people out.

I've posted details about how I proceed regarding the amiibo help in the BST.

Marth is getting a reprint anyway so maybe that's a sign of things improving in the US?

You don't get to decide where the conversation in this thread goes. As long as they aren't trying to push sales to users here, I welcome the varied discussion. More interesting than the 50th post stating "I found bowser at toys r us, but shiek was sold out!"

I Bought 60 Bowser, about 90 Sheik, ads 50 Toon Link and are going to sell them for like 50.00 a piece

I seriously I have 1 preordered of everything but Lucario, TL and Rosalina. TL will be around for a little while I hope and I have no hope of Lucario & Rosalina :(

We shouldn't be encouraging and welcoming scalpers. And yes the people here do decide where the conversation goes and right now it is "keep scalper talk out of here".

We even go to the length of using quote to see dates and locations to keep lurking scalpers at bay.

Anyone else want to chime in? Let's let all the scalpers come tell us how they scalp, what store they just bought them from and such? Maybe it was the one near you and you just got screwed?

Thanks for being helpful and not a scalper to us. These prices are on par with importing from Amazon EU sites.

Unlike people who buy them in the USA and are charging almost double.

I may need your help once we see how Wave 3 turns out here.

I'm interested in seeing other's scalping stories in addition to normal posts. It's part of Amiibo culture.

You say we shouldn't encourage it, yet we make hundreds of posts about buying the figures from Toys R Us. They are literally scalping the figures. They buy them directly from Nintendo and charge above MSRP.

Wow, that's a very great price, especially for two. Very tempted to ask you for Marth & Ike, but for the time being, I'm gonna build my budget back up & let others who want certain amiibo more than I do accept your kind offer.
 
Okay, so I just started collecting amiibos. Only have four right now (Pit, Link, Toon Link, Fox), maybe I'll order three other ones tomorrow. I have a question though- In Germany you can get most without problems, except for Little Mac. This guy is nowhere to be found at the moment. Since prices are increasing rapidly and people are apparently willing to pay said prices- are we sure there won't be another batch? Will some of the figurines really receive only one print? If you know a certain answer, do you also know which of the amiibos I should buy first?

Sorry, I'm sure that has been discussed several times, but I didn't find an answer to that and I'm in panic mode right now, lol. Thanks in advance!

They'll reprint, at some point, if only in very limited quantities. They'd be totally insane not to, even for Nintendo.

I prefer not to shop with Toys R Us because of their practices like this. They did it for Skylanders as well and I collected them for the first two sets. It's annoying they figures early (such as many skylanders, toon link, bowser, and shiek) then sell them above normal price.

Side note: I don't and will not buy from scalpers

With Azula kindly sending me his spare Fox amiibo, that makes 3 amiibo that you guys, the community, have sent me, either through kindness or contest & I think it's time to show my appreciation back. .- The first one to tell me which ONE amiibo is not available in the pic receives an internet brofist and high five from me

.- Shitton of Lucarios, Ikes, Bowsers, Toon Links

.- Sheik a bit less and even less Rosalina, which is going for 36.99 euros right now in the German amazon.

.- There are a ton of amiibos here, I had to step back to take the pic but that's the whole area, nothing else to Mario's or Ike's sides.

Thanks for the quick reply.^^ I'll buy the ones I like best next then and just wait for a re-print if another amiibo is out of stock.

And damn you Nintendo. I never thought I would buy them. Usually, I don't care for figurines at all and before I bought my first batch I thought I'd just buy very few figurines. Now I want them all, lol.

I think that one store has more Amiibo stock than my whole town and it is a decent size city...
