Why do people always complain that someone is being passionate or has something personal to share?

It's a community people. You have no reason to leave. Don't let people bully you because they don't have the mental capacity to just ignore posts. Yeesh
 
I have a friend who works at Toys R Us that I forgot about, and he's gonna hook me up if they get any more Lucario's. I can only hope if eBay TRU doesn't come through.

This is ridiculous. Are you serious?

He was bashed and mistreated in a very unfair way for showing a sliver of emotion in a thread (by the way, nearly ALWAYS while still being *very* much on-topic on how it was related to Amiibos), and your response to it is "please don't do it again, I got upset at seeing you being mistreated"?

...are you serious? You don't stand up to mistreatement by asking people to go get mistreated out of your sight. You do so by not standing for it.

I'm tired of worrying about if I'll be able to get Rosalina so I ordered her off of Amazon for $30. Paid more than I wanted to (and a bit less than I expected) but I honestly don't even care at this point.

Based on store allocations, you never know. There were over 1000 pre-orders on the eBay page alone I believe.

OK, so I'm covered for now it seems since I made an online order in the US. Kind of concerned though since I preordered Shulk/Ike/KingDedede from them relatively late in the game before they sold out.

Edit: CRAP! I must've had the order confirmation for my Shulk order on Gamestop.com deleted a long time ago and never noticed. I bought it as a guest so it will be a pain to find without an order number. Hopefully everything works out though and I get an email confirmation when they intend to ship him. Still have my order confirmation for Ike and Dedede though since I bought them together.

So you didn't even attempt to see if you could get one Sunday even though people are reporting she will be in mass amounts? You gave the scalpers exactly what they wanted double thre price for the item

haha i said that too, even on their facebook page , i think a million saw it at least once , dunno the final numbers
but yeah how dumb are they not to put it on the eshop then have a commercial or online advertisements , i would have bought both red and blue and know a lot that would have.

Indeed, I was the one that saw the grown man crying and yelling "It's not fair!". Like you I don't think I'm going to bother with Target on Sunday. I have a feeling I will just leave hating myself :)

Yeah. I understand giving up and paying extra, but at least wait until release and see how it goes.

Then again, that was my policy on wave 2 and now I'm scrambling. But it doesn't seem like the price jumps too terribly over time on most of these.

Right, but the point is that it doesn't make sense.

It's like you see someone being bullied in school (I don't like the "bullying" analogy here, but I'll stick to it for the purposes of making the point), and then you tell the kid to not come to school because it upsets you to see him being beat up.


Anyways, on-topic: my Pit from Gamestop is now estimated for delivery on monday instead of today :( Pls be ok Pit :(

Same here, lots of Targets in the St. Louis area and we are getting snow overnight Saturday with more accumulation on Sunday morning. I'm from wayyyyy upstate NY so I'm used to it but many Midwesterners struggle in snowy conditions I'm hoping that helps, but not expecting it to counter the will of scalpers. I called a Target Greatland by me, a larger one here in STL and the guy said they will have between 12-20 and wasn't sure if there was going to be a limit on how many a customer could buy.

This could have easily been said in a private message. GJ. And when you say episode and meltdown, yes it does sound harsh. Ever stop to think about how words can affect someone before actually typing them out? Why even bring up what happened before when we kinda all squashed it already.

I just knew that it would happens. Why can I express my concern about Azula's well-being if something potentially could happens since Amiibo is very frustrating hobby for most of us.

Do y'all really remember what happens when he quit? Some people jumped on him and gave him the craps because he was simply shared his feeling with everyone and considering to quit again.

I don't really want to see people bashing him again, so I would like to share my concern with him because I don't like to see people bashing on one of most nicest person I ever met on NeoGAF. (Well, actually I don't like to see most of people being bashed for some silly reasons)

I apologized for being concerned about Azula's wellbeing, and I wouldn't say anymore about his well-being again.

Yeah, I figured that now. I didn't meant to sound harsh but I'm just concerned about him. That's all. To be frank, I'm not great with words because English is being my second language so I know it''s not excuse but I don't meant any harm to anyone. I'm not sure how I would put my sentences together in better way but oh well, it just happened so I'm really sorry about it.

They just spoke their minds. This is a forum where people are free to express themselves however they please. If Azula wants to talk about his personal life, he's free to. If people don't like reading it, they have the option of saying they don't like reading about it. He's then free to ignore them or engage them. Or block them.

Of course, you could just say that those people should just stay quiet and ignore Azula in the first, but this is a forum. If no one expressed their thoughts this place would have zero posts. Post whatever you want. Disagree with whatever you want. Don't call it mistreatment or try and censor, especially when someone is expressing themselves on a personal level and thus should get personal responses.

If Azula's going to bring his personal life here, then I don't see why we have to PM anyone anything. I know we've PM'd back and forth in the past, but sorry, if you make your life public you should expect public responses. This is not an attack on Azula. He can post whatever he wants, and should feel free to.

Back on Amiibos, my friends want me to get an Amiibo for Mario Party. Now to decide which one, I don't want to be the uncool kid and get a lame one.
 
Everyone calm down, I don't think IntelliHeath meant any bad intent or anything, he seemed genuinely concerned for Azula. I know these toys are putting a lot of stress on everyone, so the best thing we could do is attempt to get along with each other. :)

Get Toad. The others (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser) will be much more common for Mario Party functionality since there are two of each figure.

Just do what I'm gonna do and go in casually. I'm not lining up, I'm not standing out in the cold, and unless they're like "we have 40 of them and it's 1 per customer!" for 10 people in line I'm not gonna wait around to see if they have enough for everyone.
 
I appreciate anyone saying nice things to me. But no one has to stick up for me. I'm not upset or mad with what he said. Although I wish he would have told me that in private, vs the way he did, because it was pretty embarrassing. It's not like I don't know about these things.

I'm just tired of having a bad impact on others. I guess I don't deserve friends right now. I don't have the right to be around other people. So I'm truly sorry if I had a bad impact on anyone here. I really didn't mean to make anyone feel bad. I was just trying to find happiness and comfort by having friends and stuff because I was so lonely for so long. But when things got a bit too much for me, I just had to take a break because I'm guarded, and looking out for myself (and my own well being). I am sorry that I made posts about it, instead of just taking a break quietly.

Anyways, I'm just going to keep my head down. I don't think I have the right or should be in any community right now. I'm just going to focus on my own health, and my fiance. We are both so happy in real life. And every day I'm getting better. But I don't want to negatively impact anyone. Because I love so many of you, and I honestly wouldn't be where I am today, if you guys hadn't taken me in and allowed me to be your friend.

But since I care so much about you guys, I don't want to put anything on you, or let myself bother you. So I'm just going to take off, and keep my head down. And only post one off posts in gaming. I am again, so sorry for everything. I shouldn't have even posted again in here. But I wanted to help my buddy Jason out. So I guess I accomplished that. I've transferred over ownership of the Google doc to Jawmuncher. And again, I'll try to ship out any Amiibos I promised anyone. I won't post here again, but thank you for everything.
