Yup, I'm currently pondering that myself. My only hope are the reports that Rosalina will be well-stocked. It seems TRU did alot more preorders than Target.

The only complaint I have about the way amiibo is being handled is the release date roulette, and only in regards to the ones I don't have preordered at GameStop. I am also waiting to spring into action when wave 4 is made pre-orderable.
I tip my hat to Nintendo's evil genius in making amiibo such a high demand success, and fuck the scalpers. That is all.

Just had a thought. Maybe the reason Wave 4 is taking so long for preorders and is relatively small is so that Nintendo can fix their supply and distribution issues. Probably over-optimistic here
Dammit out of stock as soon as I go to finalize payment. WTF man, can't they save it if it's in your cart?
I don't think that's unrealistic. It'll likely hit, what, three months after Wave 3 releases?

2 or 3 months. EU & Japan get Wave 4 near the end of April, while US is still "Spring", so could be late April or early May for us.
Gone before I could even sign in...
I have an Amazon preorder, but it's saying it won't ship til March...

I just called the Toys R Us in St Catharines, and according to the employee that I asked, they'll be getting the Wave 3 shipment this week, and it will be all of them except Lucario which will release on the 6th. They might not get them Monday, but since the shipment was held up at the border, they're hoping.

No, its because the next wave is the Super Mario one, so the supply efforts are on that one, then on Wave 4, and most likely then we will have mario Wave 2 and the Smash Wave 5. I expect one wave per month.
Targets get swarmed with the exclusives for other ranges. While I think Toyrus purposedly undersold because of that transparent Infinity disaster.

That makes sense. I forgot about the Mario series. The Smash wave isn't entirely out of the picture, though, because Robin and Lucina are usable in Project Steam, which Nintendo is marketing more so than MP10

That is definitely same problem as my friend did.
Well, I don't believe latter one since most of Toys R Us' stocks were preordered so that is what made stores look like they had only 2 to 6 Lucario. 26 out of 28 Lucario were preordered at my store, and my friend's store had 16 out of 16 Lucario being preordered.
At least, Target don't have any preorder system.

Project Steam on the other hand needs all the help it can get. Like I said jokingly I can easily see there being a bundle with either Marth or Ike amiibos just to further push some sales.
