If anyone's bored waiting for the next batch of pre-orders to go live, you can check out my new pages for all currently-announced amiibo figures and plush, including placeholder pages for Mewtwo & Lucas in my 'Future amiibo' section, on amiibros.com. :)
If you hover your mouse over the boxed image on an individual amiibo figure's page, you can see a close-up of the loose figure/plush - including the Splatoon & Yoshi's Wooly World series!

I've also updated the amiibo games page with Mario Kart 8's new compatibility info and some (limited) info about amiibo TAP & Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.

They're not currently active, but I have all currently available US pre-order links for Wave 4 & Splatoon on each individual amiibo figure's page.

All of the Amazon links for Wave 4 & Splatoon (and Jigglypuff from Target) are also on the main page for easy access. :D

NA is getting that Xenoblade 3DS XL with the Monado for the faceplate.....right? :( . Is Reggie constantly high at NOA while his escorts run everything?

I really like the section on future amiibos. I hadn't noticed any of these hidden silhouettes and images during the Directs. Good eye.

First wave would run out eventually.

While this is true, I've been doing a lot of pseudo geography why it comes to where people are struggling to find particular amiibo, and it's become increasingly clear that some retail outlets have SO MUCH backstock of the first couple waves that while it may seem like Kirby is tough for you to find, or Fox hard for me to find, in reality they're just scattered so widely across the country that there are likely stores FULL of the currently and soon to be "uncommon" amiibo.

I do however get worried the more I think about that upcoming Star Fox game and what it's gonna do to poor Fox.

Well, you can tell I don't care about Pokemon figures. I thought it looked awful. I'm guessing it's accurate?

If it's accurate, I'd see why it's a good one. Looked goofy to me with not being able to relate.

i don't get this question, have you not played smash? you dont have to care for the franchise to tell if its accurate or not.

In Finance class. Gaf open on right side browser, auto refresh extension enabled Ness amazon UK page on the left side browser, and Line app on phone in my lap. Come on Amiibo. Give me something. I am jones'in ha

Back at it again on the Amazon UK site...sigh...

How I'm feeling at the moment with getting Amiibos from these stores.

I don't see much Pit love in these threads. Anyone heard of any restocks or affordable places to pick him up? The Amiibo bug didn't bite me until Mega Man and now I think I'm SOL.

Yeah I just got hit with the Amiibo bug and it's not going well for me on my searches.

At the very least I'm glad I somehow picked up the rare Little Mac at a Target back around Christmas time without even knowing it was rare or that Amiibo business was this intense.

I keep forgetting to ask, but does anyone here what happened to former regular to AmiiboGAF Thisbejason? Name change? Banned? Left forums? Stopped collecting? He used to be on all the time.

Yeah, Pit has been a real pain to find again. If there's no restocks of it in the future, the only way I could see getting it is through trades. :/

I was on Twitter and saw someone post this link to order Ness from Taobao:

Ness Amiibo on Taobao

It's above list price but not as high as eBay prices. Is this legit?

Taobao tends to have a ton of figures that "fall off the truck" in Chinese factories. They're legit.

A scalper I knew used to buy a ton of the San Diego Comic Con exclusive figures from Taobao months before the convention to make big money.

Pit was the one that I thought was going to be much more common than he ended up being.

I started showing interest in amiibo just after Pit was released and never saw him. I would love to get him, but I've given up on anything that isn't in Mario Party Series or a common from wave 1.

To me, King Dedede is the best looking amiibo released so far. Can't figure out why he doesn't cost more on ebay. Easily the highest quality amiibo out there.

Who cares if the stock is still shit. At least it's not winter for those that camp outside.

It's just hard for me to get excited for reprints or restocks when absolutely nothing has been getting better. These will just sell out as quickly as they did last time.

Doubtful. People who are satisfied like myself aren't going to buy another except if they wanted to scalp it. But the problem is that an extra influx lowers the value so the scalping value proposition is lessened. It will make a difference in the market especially when most of the Amiibo paranoia is "if I don't get it in the first minute I'll never get it"

I scored a Pit on EBay from what seems a legit seller in Germany for about $20 USD is that a solid price? Or is he going for around that price.

Go home Macho Man, you're drunk!

Seriously though, I just bought one off of eBay for $29 with shipping included and was surprised by this as well. I figured he'd be at least $40 - $50 so I'm glad he wasn't more.

Hmmm... When you put it that way, makes this mighty tempting.

Doubtful. You're assuming that everybody that wanted one got one. These will sell out super fast because the resellers already know it's valuable. Whether it impacts the market is unclear but I expect metaknight to go from its current $50 down to about $40 is all. Not much of a difference.

So how do I "checkout" lol...I looked at the "tutorial" and still don't get it. Derp

So you're saying there is a GameStop in the middle of Kansas somewhere with every amiibo still in stock?

First you register, then you go to the page and hit Buy it Now, then it creates a purchase order. Then, from your list of purchase orders you can view it and then you pay with your credit card.

I haven't done it yet, but I think I'm going to roll the dice and see what happens.

No I'm not assuming that, I am stating the pool of people wanting will have lessened. Resellers are going to be more careful because it absolutely will lessen the value from what it is now and if people think they can get it without reseller prices then they are going to drive that market down. If this gets confirmed ebay prices will instantly drop.

Well, I dipped on it, but I can't recommend it for everyone. Shipping on top of what I paid. But at least I'm free from the Ness chapter of this Hell.

I feel your pain. Ness is the Amiibo I want more than anything.

I've waited 20+ years for an Earthbound toy and I'll be damned if hoarders and stock shortages are gonna stand in my way.
