That's insane, where do you live?
Northern VA.

This is crazy. People lined up already? Tents? A group I'm in on Facebook says that there's a line of people of 10 at a TRU in corpus Christi already. Fucking 10.
Nothing is forbidden, everything is permitted. We could call the local police force to break it up.
Which Part? I live int he northern most part and I wanna know my chances.Northern VA.
So what to do with the boxes after taking the Amiibos out?

So I have the opportunity to go to Toys R Us in the morning since I have the day off but I'm not super crazy into Amiibo, I just like Fire Emblem merchandise. I walked into a store on Smash launch and got Marth off the shelf. Missed the date on Ike completely since I wasn't paying attention and ended up paying extra for him off Amazon Marketplace.
My question is this: for the die hards who have been a part of entire ride from the beginning, what cutoff should I keep in for this to be worth my time? I figured I'd get some coffee and donuts in the morning and line up 2-3 hours before opening. About how many amiibo on average do you think a retailer like this gets? If there is already more than 10 people waiting outside, should I just give up?
This is my first time actually trying to pre purchase these guys.
You're possibly in luck.Toys R Us aren't putting up Lucina or Robin for pre-order tomorrow.
Oh wow really? I assumed all of the wave would be available.
I look silly now
That's crazy. I noticed a few people lining up on release day here in Australia but nothing like that. Certainly noone standing in the cold or dark!
I'm sure it will look like that soon enough.Just to clarify, that picture is actually from a 2011 article about Black Friday.

...why was the picture posted here? That's kind of jacked up...
Other than scalping, why would you wait all night to get a Greninja for $15 when you could just pay a scalper $50 to have it and not have to camp out all night? Is your time just not worth that much?
And even scalping doesn't seem worth it for camping out.
Got my work schedule
Final exams are NOT being given on May 29th
I'm probably going to take a personal day to see about getting Jigglypuff
May God have mercy on my soul
Here is a real pic though from an actual Greninja line

Gee I hate nintendo with this nickel and diming...
6 new additions to my wall of shame
F***ing nintendo.
Wow. Ummmm how early will I have to get up for Jigglypuff? I'm not doing that though.
Its looking like getting up early won't be good enough anymore.
Ugh ugh... us working/going to class people just won't stand a chance, will we?

Huh what does that mean? You have tix alreadyI am 12 out of 20 with Greninja and 5/20 for Pacster!
Woot. I don't even give a fuck about Pokemon, but better me than the scalper in front!
People are camping out overnight in front of stores for a $12 toy. We're screwed. And it just seems to get worse with each new wave. NOA needs to do something about this because the next 2 waves look to be even worse. Especially Zero Suit Samus, and that's the one Amiibo I want the most out of all of them. Been waiting for her since they announced these things.
Yep. I'll take pics in a moment.Huh what does that mean? You have tix already
