Did anyone manage to preorder any of wave 4? A friend of mine who waited in line at gamestop said someone preordered 23 Robins, which is complete bs.

I just called a gamestop an hour away from me(just to see if it was POSSIBLE to order over the phone) she said absolutely NOT because they don't take credit cards over the phone

Dude was an amiibo hunter himself and he was hella chill about it.

To answer any questions, i called and asked if anyone was still in line, he said no.
i told him i wanted ness and he checked and said only him and charizard were available.
he said he didn't want me to miss out on it and since no one was there for them anymore, he helped me get a unit over the phone

Well i finally secured Ness. After waiting an hour and a half at gamestop #1 before i had to leave i stopped by a second store on the way home.

Of course the six pack bundle was long fine but at least i got their exclusive.

Gamestop really should've prepared their network better for this event.

Some people are reporting they're all gone, but some are saying they are still getting them. It's going to depend on your store, so only way to find out is to call or head there.

I think you guys are missing the point. Exclusives don't change the stock situation one bit.

Jigglypuff going down in 5 minutes is NOT normal. There aren't that many people interested. I can only assume they had, what...20000 for the entire NA? Probably less. Now imagine that 20000 split across all the retailers. It doesn't change the core problem of supply.

Delay the waves. Produce the right amount of Amiibo. The whole ordeal has been one mess after another for their most loyal customers.

I wasn't busy and was in line. I was fifth in line actually. One order went through with 100% confirmation and it took over an hour to do. The second order wasn't completely confirmed. We've gotten to the point where we can't even guarantee ourselves a preorder when waiting in line when we're on time.

Yeah it's terrible and stress-inducing. I'm surprised I got Gold Mario so easy, to be honest.

Seriously though, Employees were great at handling this. 2 Stayed past the end of their shift to help also. Just crazy seeing when he called a store in NYC out of curiousity and finding out they were in the same boat.

At this point they need to make more than demand. Scalpers I think are still taking a huge hit on the supply. Make them common so scalpers will move on and maybe future waves will go smoothly. Doubt they would ever let that happen at all.

I had cheerful and patient cashiers who were just curious about the amiibo craze while I was there for nearly an hour. I can totally see some assholes saying it's sold out so they just don't have to deal with it.
