The only exclusive that was tough for me was Meta Knight and Gold Mario. I was lucky to get both through trades though.

The good news is that Best Buy seems to have their act together since they are being proactive about Dark Pit. As for Walmart I don't mind if they don't get any more exclusives.

Oh today was the day Palutena went up? Damn, I haven't been following the releases closely for awhile but this was one I was looking forward to picking up

I was able to get a Palutena after a lot of refreshing and getting 404 pages and whatnot. I consider it a fucking miracle lol.

Wish I could've gotten my Rosalina, Lucina, and Robin that easily. Had to pay the import premiums on those. :(

I still have a Japanese Palutena that I'd be willing to sell someone for MSRP + shipping if someone missed her and doesn't care about the box.

Actually, I said 'seems' because it let me get deep into the checkout process at normal prices before I stopped. Not sure if it would have let me go all the way through...

Does anyone think this is a good sign for future amiibo releases on Amazon? Even if they aren't exclusives, if they limit to one per account, they might be in stock for more than 2 seconds.

Robin and Lucina were up for less than 90 seconds combined.

It starts with the stock they get, which is on Nintendo.

I think this and the restocks we've been seeing show a better acknowledgement that demand is pretty high and they need to not only make more but get them to retailers in a consistent manner. They already have a restock plan in place on Amazon.

It's a bit crazy to think we may actually be able to walk into a store one day and just pick up whatever we want.

Finally back in the land of cell phone coverage. I managed to get my Palutena by pulling over on the road next to a trailhead while I still had service. Another 20 minutes and I'd have been out of coverage and unable to get one.

Got shipping notification a few hours ago at work. Amazon does not mess around!

I'm just having trouble understanding why they canceled. "Limit one per customer." Okay, I'm a customer, he's a customer. Like, really? But as I said, they were different accounts, addresses and credit cards.

Sounds like they are going by IPs. Something similar happened with PAX Prime tickets this year too, which screwed over roommates etc. It IS true that people will use family members to buy up to scalp, as it definitely does happen, but it sure stinks for legitimate reasons when two separate people buy it from the same place.

Blame scalpers is the bottom line for ruining it for the rest of us, really :/

That gamestop used deal is pretty good. Filled out my collection with three commons I never would have paid $13 for. I would have preferred Bowser over Link but it sold out during checkout.

Australia has gotten really good with stock lately. Gotten all of Wave 1 back, lots of the supposed "rares" from other waves are in and the recent waves of Greninja/Jiggs onwards have been plentiful, I was able to walk in a store a few days after release and pick my favourite paint job out of the one's on the shelves.

What's this all about, I'm missing quite a few commons, but I take them all out of the packages anyway.

The only other Amiibo I really want to get are Bowser Jr., Mr. Game & Watch, Lucas, Ryu, and Mewtwo.

I might get Greninja too if scalper prices drop enough.

I think he's my new favorite. Top 3, at least. Olimar himself looks great, love the details on his suit and his helmet. I love that they managed to squeeze three Pikmin on there too. Lovely little figure (also gives you the best Mii outfit in MK8!). I think mine has a lean to it though but it's not too big a deal.
