Wow i had no idea they were this close, 2 days ago it was barely half the target, what happened since??
Anyway still a pretty long way to go considering the short time, campaign needed more time.
You know what? I'm going to stick my neck out. It'll make $900k.
Sticking with this prediction. Quietly confident.
This is pretty terrible you guys
And yet somehow, catchy
I agree with Petrie 100%. I told Harmonix about it on the second day of the kickstarter too.
Their attitude was basically that I should be happy to back their game at retail price (or more) and that it was unreasonable for me to expect a break in price, that my refusal to back would be counter-productive since it might lead to the game not getting funded (THE HORROR!).
They were very polite about it, and I very politely explained to them that their approach to kickstarter was arrogant and shortsighted. I'm also very confident it will get funded because a lot of people don't see eye to eye with me.
Thank God for Petrie, mah man!
In my considered opinion, the bolded parts of their explanation for the miserly 1000 slots are utter nonsense. Sold at a loss? Need those extra $5?
Nah, that doesn't pass muster.
I don't get it why do the guys responding to Petrie keep doing it? Why does he have to see things the same way you do? Who the hell cares about if he supports the KS or not, it's not like his 15 or 40 is going to be the amount the KS is short by if it did come up short.
I just found out about anamanaguchi and Jim Guthrie additions this week so Harmonix you have my first KS pledge ever (and my sword, axe, etc.).

Here is my convo with Harmonix

They shouldn't have wasted their time with you. You seriously think that everyone should be able to get the game with a $15 pledge when the game is almost certainly going to cost $20? Things like unadvertised flash sales exist. Ever hear of first come first serve? It isn't an uncommon concept, on kickstarter, or otherwise no matter how much guys want to make it seem like dirty tactic.
At work and can't watch the stream - can someone explain what Barkerville is to me?

Is the show being archived? Can't watch at work. Need to subscribe and check it out later if possible. Sounds like they are putting on a good show though.
Two things:
1) Leave people alone if they don't want to fund the KS. That's their right.
2) No one cares to see a dozen posts about why you aren't funding it. You aren't and that's enough.
Hellooo
When Brad Shoemaker was a kid playing Castlevania 2 he somehow got it into his head that one of the songs was called Barkerville. Something about wolf town or werewolves. It didn't really make any sense. At work and can't watch the stream - can someone explain what Barkerville is to me?
Sorry John Drake.
