Harmonix in this case approached Sony and they were nice enough to lend the IP they would do nothing with. If Inafune was on good terms with Capcom and Capcom lend him the Megaman IP he would accept it in a heartbeat. And the Kickstarte would have 3 times the success it originally had.

I want to back this, but locking away in-game content at the $100 level is not really sitting well with me.

I backed this in the end but I would have given more if they didn't do this. In-game cosmetic stuff is fine but locking a song away is lousy.
