Guys, out of nowhere, my phone simply won't download anything from the Market. I have the notifications for updates, and it says that it's downloading, but never finishes.

Any ideas?

Dunno what caused it, but if you go to Application Settings and Clear Data for the Market, the problem should be flushed.

Try going into the settings in the app, and resetting your "Content Filtering" settings. It seems that any time I do that, it does a sort of full refresh of the app. That might clear things up.

Current will show you a list of feeds your currently subscribed to in Reader, but you still have to individually select which feeds you want to show up in Current. As far as I could tell, there's no way to select all at once.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
Running the latest ICS Alpha on my Desire. Took some fucking jumping through hoops to get it running, figured it out eventually though :p

Can still be a little smoother but it's very nice, gonna stick it out for a day and see how it goes as a day to day.

I hope currents opens up their feed options and allows instapaper to be a source.

Did you have to do partitioning stuff and blackrose hboot? I'm dreading having to do all that stuff.

decided to give ADW ex a go while its on sale.

Why the heck did google randomly charge me a euro? 12c for the app (extra 2c is VAT) then a euro to google for lulz.

I was S-Off'd thanks to AlphaRev, had to switch to stock HBOOT, that was the part I didn't know. Least I know that for future reference. Apparently you need an EXT3 or EXT2 partition, I'm pretty sure I already had an EXT3 one setup from before though so that wasn't my issue, it just requires you're using Stock HBOOT.

That happens to me, I just hit the X next to the Downloading bar then hit the Install button.

The Samsung Fascinate has stable ICS and it was abandoned and isolated from its siblings at birth, there's hope for almost any phone provided it has developers willing to work on it.

Does Currents have Google Reader's "magic" sort?

If not I rather use google reader.

I only find it good for image heavy feeds, like a porn torrent feed.

Uhh...my LTE symbol turned on below my 4G sign on my Galaxy SII Skyrocket. Never seen it before. Just performed a speedtest of 20MB on numerous pulls from my home office in the basement. Previously, when the device was running HSPA+ I netted 5-11MB inconsistently.

This is pretty drastic and happened much quicker than I anticipated.

With Currents, I can't get past the account screen. My account is sync, but I have no idea how to continue on to the app. I have a feeling I am missing something very obvious.

Guys, I need help finding a eBook Reader.

It should be capable of two things:
- read epub AND pdf
- read DIRECTLY from sd-card, with no importing to main memory like f.i. Aldiko does

Any recommendations?

Picked up a Bionic couple days ago. Tried activating but it ended up being the first time 4g was having nationwide problems according to customer support. I tried to activate yesterday but it bypassed the activation screen and I had to call again. Finally they said I need a new sim card which I have to pick up tomorrow. I've been waiting to jump on the smartphone bandwagon for a few years so I really hope I leave the store with a working Bionic. :|

I use FBReader, it reads books straight from the sd card.

can currents read stuff from your reader if they haven't opted into currents? downloading the apk but if google don't expand this to other regions soon i'm going to be annoyed.

Nevermind, the Kindle app for Android can't natively read epub.

However, the Nook app can! Try the Nook app instead.

If you want ePub and PDF in only one app, and I'm assuming you want PDF support that keeps your place in the file, I suggest Aldiko.

The Nook Reader app does this...Just put the epub file in the directory that is created by the app. If your cover art doesn't appear, download the Nook cover art helper (or something like that) from the marketplace.

It's also an excellent reader but a bit slow at times.

Edit: Sorry but I don't think it has PDF support...

So I got tired of waiting for GN, and got a rezound.
And well a of now, of course I'm not a fan of sense.
And rezound is an ugly ass name. Screen is gorgeous.
the bulkiness from press shots was delaying my decision, but after holding it in my hand it felt nice.

Btw I'm coming frying OG Droid.
Hoping this baby gets rooted soon
