Unfortunately Dice player is not currently available for purchase and my trial has expired. BS Player has handled everything I've tossed at it. On a related note, how do I backup my apps so I can reinstall it from local storage after a restore? I'd hate to lose a good paid app because Google fucked with the developers.

BS is my backup player, but it can't handle apple trailers in 1080p smoothly.

I was using BS player lite....I had no issue playing HD videos with the GS2.
I tried dice player trial with the galaxy nexus and it still couldn't handle it...
I'm really disappointed with the performance of the galaxy nexus. Even with ICS I still find touchwiz better....
I"m actually using Nova launcher on the galaxy nexus because plain ICS just lack so much options...
I remember hearing it was leaked a bit ago.

So people shouldnt blame Samsung for the slow updates, its the goddamn carriers that drag their asses on them. Not saying you, just in general.
I updated to a 2.3.5 ROM (XKI3) as my Bell Galaxy S 2 is still on 2.3.3. Its very easy as they are official ROMS.
Gotta wait for Sprint to move their asses and release it for the Epic =/

I hope, at some point, they give us a way to remove devices from our account. I have quite a few unused devices in there that I would like to remove, and no way to do so.
I actually have a transformer tied to another account that I occasionally use with the account from the screenshot(which doesn't show the transformer). The device disappears from my market account settings a few days after I remove the account from the device.
That's true, but the company's website and that review don't really try hard to dispel that impression.

Update it manually if you're really eager to get it. It doesn't take a long time at all and it's a lot more efficient than just waiting for Google to queue your device up in the servers if you want it sooner rather than later.

I did this and it took fifteen minutes tops. UK Nexus S on O2 PAYG SIM. Works perfectly. Hope that helps.
Yeah, my Vibrant shows up twice. Plus, they have two different IMEIs. I have no idea how that happened since I didn't do anything beside flashing ROMs.

HAHA, that is exactly the same for me. No clue how that happened, but it's annoying. Like you, though, it was at some point during my multitude of ROM flashes.

getting the 'couldnt install to usb storage or sd card' error when I try to install big apps though
Force install to internal storage in Titanium Backup and it should work.
It's the TW version. It's 50% samsung, 50% stock. It's smooth, but need more polish. I got some FC's.
Can't wait to see in on the Galaxy Note

They're only claiming 21 mbps hspa, if it was qualcomm chip why not claim the full 42?

After a few days with ice cream sandwich and getting the hang of it, I actually think its pretty dayam nice.
I was able to do fine without app drawer folders. Using nova launcher allow me to have a clean home page that shows off the amazing screen.

I'm saying there will be a 99% chance it is Qualcomm. The Skyrocket also has 21mbps HSPA+ and LTE, so unless Samsung has some new chipset to use, it will likely be similar inside.

A lot of people are bummed that it is not the Sammy Exynos but in order for AT&T to justify the LTE devices, they are stuck with Qualcomm until Sammy brings the pain later in Q2 with their own LTE chipset.
I've used both the GS2 and the Skyrocket and I honestly can't tell a difference. I also don't care about benchmarks which don't do me a spit lick of good. Very happy with my Skyrocket's performance.
I may however change my tune once LTE lights up in Portland and my battery starts making baby crying noises....

I'm really hating Verizon. First they didn't get Galaxy SII (Nexus made up for that), and now they don't have the Note? Urgh! Plus they have a terrible selection (read: one low to mid-range model) of WP7 phones. If AT&T had better service where I live, I would switch without hesitation.

Nobody has the Galaxy Note. It's not due for release state-side until this year.
Also, nobody cares about WP7. That's why Verizon doesn't carry any WP7 devices worth mentioning, they already have the most Android devices of any US carrier and they have the iPhone. They also have 128 markets live on LTE already and will have 75% of the nation covered with glorious blisteringly-fast

What would it use until ICS comes out?
The international version of the GNote has two capacitive buttons and one hardware button. Samsung should have switched the back button to the left and made all three as hardware buttons.
i don't have a backup of the app though, i take it there is no way to do it unless you already backed it up?
