Sold it on Amazon. ... $270. Yeah, no shit. $270. Pretty good.

It was like new in box, everything included. Also it just came back from HTC repaired so it was 10/10 condition. Regardless, I still think I made out like a bandit.

Yea, I'd say that's pretty good.

any droid 4 rumors? droid 3 was cool, but no 4G and ICS.
The DROID 4 is codenamed Maserati and will come with 4G. I have no idea on a release though.

That is a really good deal. Even if I didn't get mine engraved, I don't know if I would want to sell my N1. No other phone will ever have the multicolored trackball.

Don't know if anyone has run into this problem, but anytime I try and play music out watch videos, on my galaxy s, it says it can't play that media type, but if I reboot, it works, for maybe an hour, then it won't work again. Any ideas?

i dont have the box, and its definitely not like new... some scratches on the casing, nothing on the screen, but everything works.

I found some in similar condition of mine for 170 on amazon. Ill take that.

Well they switched our company phones from Palm Pre 2s to Galaxy S 2s

Other than having android on my touchpad, I've never had this OS...

What are some apps to get, any cool stuff about my phone that maybe I don't know about?

It has the most cheap plastic backing ever...I was pretty amazed at that. Will ICS come to this phone? I use AT&T

Why do they name their OSs after food? Are they hungry? I'm always hungry when I think of ICS.

Why can't I edit my facebook friends to include their numbers? If they failed to put their number on their profile, I can't go into my contacts to edit it.

My workaround was to remove the fb sync and add my contacts manually then sync back to facebook.

Also what is a good place to get accessories? Cases, screen protectors?
because Facebook sucks.

Wow, pretty amazing. I guess its not so "cheap" after all.

I don't really think that's it alone. It's just not a good idea to drop a phone that is made of glass. It looks amazing but clearly isn't designed to survive drop tests. The build quality on the S2 is really nice for a plastic phone. It still feels solid despite the lack of metals. Given that the Galaxy Nexus has an internal metallic structure I expect it to feel even better.

You just confused us all dude.

(the galaxy nexus (ugh) has an led in the bottom, I think kaiken was clarifying it was RGB, but I was mocking the name)

If Sprint does get a hold of this phone it's going to be "The all-new Sprint Samsung Epic Galaxy Nexus 4G Touch Plus HD"

Oh yeah, I was referring to the bending test though, I thought for sure that the cover would snap in two but it came out like a champ. Very impressive.

Yeah the battery cover isn't really a plastic. It's sort of rubbery but also plastic. Kinda. It's so thin it needed to be to avoid snapping. The S2 is a big step up from the original.

Oh dear, Galaxy Nexus, RAZAR and HTC Rezound all on Nov 10 for Verizon.

Lines out the door looks good for media. That may be the strategy. Lord knows I'm having a heck of a time deciding which one to get. The Galexus is the front runner, but the Razr is sexy as fuck and the Rezound may be the spec-king (even if you have to double the width with the extended battery, which at least is an option).

For the guy with the facebook contact editing gripe... Just make a new contact with the same name and add the number and then join the two contacts through the menu. Works perfectly on my Droid X.

I am sick of my HTC 7 Trophy. I love the OS but I simply hate using a touch screen to type.

My options on Windows Phones are limited to an HTC Pro (Expensive) and a Dell Venue Pro (lol dell). So I am wanting some advise on an Android phone with a QWERTY keyboard.

It needs a decent size one so the Xperia minis are out and I also have terrible vision so a reasonable size screen >3.5 inch is required. From my (quick) research it looks like the Desire Z is the best option? But, any other suggestions would be great.

I'd happily look at other OSes as well ;).

@dr1337ould you possibly upload your Nexus ONE SDK ICS port to XDA? im sure tons of people, including me, would like to use it

@Alankrut Yes. I will upload it soon. Need to slim it down so that it works with non-modded boot loaders (using blackrose right now)

Awesome.

(that's the ICS SDK port that was on Youtube)

Will this be good for regular Android users? Or is it for the super smart devs and super hardcore users?

Nah, you probably don't want to actually use it for day to day. I'm gonna load it up just to dick around for a little bit.

Yeah--- with no "exclusive" anywhere in the press release.... I feel like Google is about ready to unleash the beast to all carriers and Verizon simply got to announce it first.

Question about music/other file storage.

It seems most people put music on the sdcard, is it possible to put it on the internal memory and still have programs access it automatically? Is there a special place for userdata on the filesystem in internal memory?

Yes there's space assigned for the user, by default it's the only internal storage the user will see when using the stock file manager or connecting the device to a computer. You just put your media anywhere in there and the system will scan it so it shows up in the relevant apps. If there's something you don't want scanned you have to specifically tell it not to.
