Most of us own a tablet but hardly anyone (haven't checked all) has an 3G version it seems
I'm surprised I'm like the only person who said the one app he can't live without is whatever web browsing app. Using the internet is what I do most of the time on my phone.
Google should buy them for the patents, then make the xfonOne.

I have a friend looking for a new phone. She currently has a Sony dumb phone, and she was looking at getting a Sony Experia J as her first smartphone. Is this a decent budget phone? It just recently got updated to jelly bean so that's something good for a budget phone. She really likes the feel and wants to stick with Sony (she's a Sony fangirl), but she can't afford an expensive phone (she's buying it outright for prepaid).
Here is her current carrier's prepaid phone selection. Is there anything massively better for the same price point (or less)?

Why can't you use the stock widgets anymore?thanks. also i think im about ready to swap to apex from the xperia extended launcher. cant use stock widget anymore. can anyone recommended any good apps/widgets for music and viewing pictures/?
google play music looks decent>? anything for pictures?
And what's wrong with the stock keyboard and why do you not switch?
Oh, well that's shitty. The stock Google Music widget is pretty alright, if not basic. Check it out!sonys widgets are locked to their launcher shamefully. i'm only going to really miss the walkman app, otherwise theres no huge loss.
Auto-correct and word prediction seems to be inferior compared to iOS and WP and the Italian and German dictionaries are a joke. And I'm not switching, because I don't have the money for a new unsubsidized phone right now.

How does one switch to Hangouts in so little time? I don't know anyone who uses it yet, I guess it's going to be hard for Hangouts to push Whatsapp out of the way over here.
I don't regularly text with that many people, and the people I do chat with were pretty easily swayed.

About a month ago they decided to become a subscription service instead of a one time fee.does Whatsapp really charge 99 cents a year?? or is that only to access specific features?

What time does Verizon press conference start? I'm ready to pull the trigger on the S4 at the HTC one is not announced.
No, but it seems like the First and the departures are more of a timing coincidence than anything. We've had no indication that HTC invested heavily in the device; Facebook was pushing the ads itself.Do we have a thread about HTC's current troubles?
I'm in many Whatsapp group conversations and Whatsapp seems to be the app that everyone has now a days. I guess it's too soon to change.
I'm wondering though how Hangouts is so much better than Whatsapp that it's worth changing. What are the key differences and improvements?

Same here, Browser is my main app.which is why I just switched back to an iPhone 5
