Finally, after Youtube not working for him we can hear his feelings!

Oh man I couldn't listen to more than 30 seconds of that before turning it off. Turn the volume down buddy, we can hear you fine.

You will find that people named "Angry" rarely have worthwhile things to say about video games. Their schtick prohibits it--and if it's not a schtick, then... well, they're getting angry about video games, so you can't presume they're exactly the brightest apples in the bunch.

Why is this guy a public figure around gaf? I feel embarassed just listening to him "us fellow gamers". All he does is act like a maniac, giving gamers a bad name.

Do people really get that much money from making videos on YouTube?

Some can make it as a living, so yeah, they can make a lot. A livable income however, is subjective. People can live off of 10k a year, and some can live off 100k. Youtube's Partners can make anything between those, and of course less or more.

I'm a couple minutes in and if he doesn't stop congratulating MS for being the bumbling criminal soon I don't know if my cringe will ever go away.

I like Angry Joe, but why do you think Microsoft changed their policies? It's because everyone yelled at them to the point Microsoft finally gave in. You guys must feel good BUT, what if Microsoft tries to screw with us again? No one should ever forget what they tried to do and still wait before pre ordering. With that said, great video!

I'm sick of 'angry youtube gaming personalities' yelling at me. What does the Quiet, Passive, Forlorn Gamer have to say about MS DRM.

LOL at him taking credit or for that matter gamers, take credit for Sony not doing it. But not here, MS didnt even end their vision during that whole #noDRMsony campaign, they went into E3 still selling DRM as gods idea for gamers.

The reality of it all Share holders didnt like the initial numbers and called for sudden change, If the numbers were great they would still do this DRM vision, you thats a fact. Their vision of xbox one was conceived 3 to years ago they wanted this they saw it as "the future".

people are already trashing him in the comments.
gne gne gne, I wont forgive them...Lol Yeah, just like they did not forgive sony for changing the terms of service, after the outage or after they removed backwards comp or linux.
Bah.

This particular guy is just an enthusiast speaking his mind about games and game-related topics, much like we are, just via a different medium. I'm not saying that makes him a good or bad commentator, but we should look past moniker's like "Angry Joe".

I am not, for instance, a "thumb".

This probably DOES hinge on the full details of why it was abandoned. Maybe if they looked at internet penetration and what areas weren't getting it they'd see if either they could smooth things out (Microsoft probably DOES have the clout to get universities to open up to XBL, though HOPEFULLY that'd end up extending to other consoles too), or if it wasn't going to work out and thus they stay away for good. Though I could see them just trying to do more exactly what Steam does, activating to a console but no selling games and no sharing, thus able to work fully offline forever. Then it's just a matter of preparing for when you don't have the internet.

That would probably also work better with a smaller, powerbrick-less console like the PS4 is so you could just carry it to a store for activation.
