I was trying to finish Batman on the NES recently, got to the Joker but despite repeated attempts I just couldn't beat him, and eventually gave up... :(

Anyway, great episode. The only thing I'd disagree with is that the Batman Returns driving stages were awesome, as was Batman & Robin for Sega CD, which was all those driving stages... the game was unbelievably hard and impossible (I never beat the cyber-zone level...), but awesome. Batman Forever... yeah. That's bad.

Yup.

In fact I'd say most of the old-school beatemup Batman games were pretty good, I tried Batman 89 at an arcade and it was damn addicting.

Batman Forever was one of the first games to earn genuine hatred from me. I couldn't believe that game was so bad.

And the instruction booklet was wrong. DEAD WRONG.

Batman Forever was one of many shitty games I won from a Nabisco contest back in the day. I tortured myself with those horrible games because I was a poor kid and they were free. I'm ashamed to say I actually finished Batman Forever. :(

I feel like such a Batman nerd for thinking "why is he asking the enemy to die? he is batman!"

And Adventures of Batman and Robin on Genesis (and SNES, but Gen version was better) was awesome. He should have mentioned that one also.

that one, and Dragon's Lair is so damn hilarious I watch it at least two times a week. Awesome

Oh man. I had Batman Forever for the Game Boy. So bad. So, SO bad.

I remember not knowing what do with the grappling hook thing too. And then I figured it out... and still got stuck.

Oh how he would hate the Amiga, most platformers on that system used up for jump. Mind you, they didn't have weird button combinations like what was in that Batman forever game, seesh. Someone needs to make a GIF of his expression at 8:39, it's classic. He really starts to flip out with this game, and I thought he was angry last week. :lol

Very few things ever made me laugh out loud in front of my computer - the Nerd getting all fired up in his Batman costume with the glasses on definitely was one of those rare occasions.
