no I went beck a month, and played a few hours for each day until I ran out of stuff to do and moved my day up one. Still not caught up to current time.

Before your visit there are a chair out for KK to come and have a show but the chair went away guess our dates don't match might cause this or maybe you can't have visitors for some things, not sure.

Ok, so what disadvantages does one have if they are the second member of the Island, and not the founder?

i read the reader reviews on Meta about how you miss on main quests, activities, and can’t progress until the island leader does something first.

so my question is...what type of quests am i missing out on? What events and activities? What sort of progress M i not allowed to make?

I’m asking because I let my girl start first, have been playing for two days, and i love it. We are like a team and I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on too much. Granted, ahe’s played the hell out of it, much more than myself.

you have to be online and your gates have to be open
you can open it to all friends or best friends or codes only

I was really looking forward to this game but there are multiple people in my house who want to play it. So my wife starts her game and now if I want to play it, there's no way for me or either of my kids to each have their own save.

This is worse than breakable weapons in Breath of The Wild. This is the second time they've made what should be an amazing game into something I don't even want to play with a single asinine decision. Good job Nintendo.

I started out a few hours back. I paid off my loan with my nook miles but I haven't gotten beyond the tent. Can I dump items in my tent (do theyy despawn)?

You can dump them anywhere you want on your island. They'll never disappear

Also in the ATM kind of machine theres something you can buy with your Nook Miles that'll give you an additional inventory row

I bought the game yesterday, quite excited.

After a while I try going to the airport so I can try online multiplayer right. Well the guy behind the counter tells me I have to wait till tomorrow, wich suck but no choice.

The morning, I try again. Nice! It works, I choose online because I don't have any friend that has a switch and animal crossing SO, any random people will do just fine !! So I can't wait, press the button, it loads the server, save my game Annnnd...

Friend code are STILL needed in freaking 2020? I can't join random people island online in 2020? What the F!

Am I missing something people?

I'm so frustrated right now, behind the fking box it says ONLINE MULTIPLAYER and before I took the time to ask, is it possible to join random people online.

They do spawn back just slowly. Just try doing other things. Shake trees. Unlock the stamps in the nook app. Fish.

Been playing this almost non-stop since release, it's so damn good. Gives me something to look forward to every day in these miserable times.

Random shit my kids discovered which I was like "huh, neat"

• If a tree doesn't drop a branch when you shake it, just keep on shaking.
• To cover up sand-holes, kick it with Y rather than wasting a shovel usage.
• You have to shovel up flowers if you want to "plant" them again.
• You can shovel up a whole tree (eat fruit, then shovel it) with fruit on it and replant in your town.
• The leaf umbrella (made just from weeds) sells for twice as much as weeds.

Really hope the cloud-save stuff gets added soon, starting to get nervous about the amount of time I've invested into it.

You don’t need it. Deserted Islands can be travelled to by acquiring Nook Tickets from the machine

Pay off the house, as that triggers more villagers, which in turn triggers some of the mid-game upgrades/facilities.

My wife and I are on the same island and we run into this stuff too. Once you can go to other islands it becomes a lot easier to gather materials. I forget exactly what triggers this. The other option is to mail items to each other. We did this to unlock the Nook's Cranny shop.

Yeah it's one island only per Switch console I think it is. So anyone else playing just goes to the same island the first person started. There's no way for a second person to start from the beginning which puts me off the game completely.

I got the shop items, so that should be up tomorrow. Got Blathers enough for the museum. About to have enough to get the next tier house. Wife is in the same boat.

I wound up on an island with a ton of bamboo but not sure what to do with it just yet besides stock piling.

Someone mentioned wanting more screenshots. I agree. I wouldn’t want the thread to become drowned in images, but a few more of what everyone is up to would be fun.

I got my house today. Not... sure how this lives up to Animal Crossing decorating standards, but for being a collection of random things, two days in, I like it, lol.

And... the interior needs some work. Lol. I can’t wait to get the bigger shop, so I can have some more furniture and wallpaper/carpet options to put together something really cool. Same for clothes, although I have some mail-order Nook Inc. outfits ( ) arriving tomorrow.
