Player one of any town is Mayor. There is no changing this role without deletion of said town. However, you could theoretically make a dummy mayor and then choose to play as player two for the duration of your time in NL, thus removing your mayoral duties...and gameplay options.

I totally forgot this was releasing this Sunday! I've played a ton of ACWW, so this game will keep me occupied for a while. It's probably a good thing that I don't really know much about New Leaf.....right?!

Ive had an SD card for about 5 years and still have yet to experience any issues. Maybe it depends on the brand. Im content with digital. Dont ever remove the card when the system is on. I did that when I got my 3DS thinking like it would be like the Wii and hotswapping it out. Wiped out all my data.

I'm hoping my easing into the 3DS for the first time won't take that long. I'm pretty excited, I haven't had both main handhelds since the PSP/DS era so.. now I can finally have the best of both worlds.
