I am a bit confused right now. Played AC for the first time today. I was fishing and I found some items to buy me a house. Right now I have to wait until tomorrow.
Is there nothing else I can do right now, beside going fishing and make some designs for my clothes? I have no friends in AC right now, but beside that, this is a little bit annoying, isnt it? Or is this a game that you only play 20 minutes a day?

Turn in the largest bug. Any bug cuaght at any time will work.
Turn in smaller ones first since each time you beat the current record you get a prize.
Contest ends at 6pm so turn in a big one that you saved or just caught to have a better chance of winning.

I don't see anything that goes against it so I'll give a tentative yes.
There is also a "high score" to beat in terms of bug size to get an additional prize.
And anybody who doesn't have a bug net, don't worry. Nat sells them during the Bug-Off!

I had no idea it affected rare bug spawns and stuff. I generally try to feng shui when I can because it is kind of fun trying to fit things for a bonus. But I never do it if it forces me to make my house look bad. But following the rules for it is easy enough to try and do it whenever possible. West for yellow, East for red and south for green.
This is my first time playing an Animal Crossing game and I love it. It's so relaxing. I've only just paid my first down payment on my house, but I know I'm going to end up putting a lot of time into this game.

Yeah, this game looks so kiddy on the outside but it has some deeper layers to dive in to as well.
