Anyone know?

From what I read elsewhere there is a limit to the number of trees you can have in an area which is just less than you have room for with the optimal tree layout. Explains why I always end up with 1 or 2 dead trees in a perfect block regardless of how many times they get replanted.

I did similar layouts for fruit trees up until like 8 of them and never had any issues. Maybe too many trees?

Just normal fruit trees. Stuff that has already grown elsewhere in my town.

Just replant them, they'll grow.

I actually already did once, and they died again. They're not beside anything, and there's theoretically no reason why they shouldn't grow.

Lychees, Persimmons, Lemons, Oranges, Pears. I think that's all that you missed.

When it doesn't automatically stack fruit, and you have to do it one by one, you should know what kind of game this is. The answer is no.

I'm from Australia but it didn't work for me until I manually changed my DNS server to Google's public sever. I put...

Primary DNS: 008.008.008.008
Secondary DNS: 008.008.004.004

Now it works fine, maybe give that a shot?

The trees in each row are too close. If you're planting them in straight lines like that, they need 3 spaces between them. Your other option is to plant every other tree one row down, but they still need to be separated by at least two spaces.

Grow them all! Just be sure to plant coconuts/bananas on the sandy beach area or they'll die.

Anyone know how many spaces you're supposed to leave between trees in order for them to grow? I'd like to start up an orchard.

I think a single tree needs 9 tiles (3x3) to grow. 8 around it and then it grows in the middle. So as long as you can dig one hole around it in every direction, it you'll be fine.
