Does anyone know if you can find scallops all day? I haven't been diving at all since it's not a gameplay part that really interests me. But Pascal is a cool dude

I've gotten them in the morning, at noon and late at night, so I'd be willing to say yes.

Dunno if Pascal has a time limit though, the time I got one in the middle of the day I had already seen him.

Only June Necessity I'm still missing seems to be that darn Ladybug. I've been actively looking for it for 3 days and still haven't found it. Funniest thing is I see people having trouble getting Char fish and Violin Beetles, but I've gotten over 6 or so of each with getting 3 Char fish just yesterday morning. I wonder if the odds of finding them are different in each town or something.

So I'm foolishly trying to go ahead and make this path with 13 tile types. I just moved a new character to dump patterns in today - is there really no other way to get them the patterns except waiting ten days through talking with Sabel? I thought I'd at least be able to put them on display and have my dump character pick them up but no dice. Any solutions?

It's actually based on time. Once I looked at the right time I got two.
Also apparently Char can spawn slightly up river of your waterfall. Weird.

What are the rules to unlock Cyrus? I got him today, but my son's save on the same game he is still asleep. He's been playing as often as me

Cyrus will be asleep until you have played for seven days, sold 100,000 bells worth of items to Reese (the pink alpaca), and have 100 pieces of furniture and 50 clothing items in your catalog. (Items are added to your catalog as soon as you put them into your inventory, even if the Nooklings' shop doesn't have a catalog machine yet.)

But for things like nookling upgrades the money is usually collaborative. So does he just need the items? (Also surprised if I have 100 items catalogued,I don't have much at all. Have tons of clothes though)

If it is individual requirements that is a little unfair because if you have four saves on one game, you still only get a couple of items of furniture from nookling junction every day,so it'll take much longer for four people to unlock Cyrus etc than one player

Everything you have held in your inventory is stored in the catalog, you don't need to sell things for it to appear in the catalog.
