What wallpaper, floor and additions matches and gives a comfortable/homey feeling with my Rococo upstairs.

I went with the opulent rug for the Rococo in my front room--seemed a little softer than the default floor. I'd intended it to be a steampunk sitting room but I sort of...ran out of steam.

I have good news too. Annalisa just told me she's moving on the 1st

Checked it out. Looks good. I like the way your villagers' houses are grouped together. And your lighthouse and benches are in great spots. But you definitely need more hybrids.

I got suggested an oil rig pwp yesterday. What is that even doing in the game? So random.

It would be interesting if it produced bells everyday, just deposited them in your bank account. But I'm guessing it doesn't do anything that useful.

Flowers won't wilt with BT ordinance. But yes, watering flowers will encourage hybrid growth. But obviously the more flowers you water, the less likely a specific set of flowers will breed.

D'oh. Ah well, I have a low pop now, maybe a miracle will happen I've been spending just minimal time in the town daily for about a month now, but now that I have all the hybrids I'm thinking of planting gardens around everyone's house, using fertilizer to push the slow-reproducing flowers into reproducing. (It's been working great for black cosmos!)

Finally got to fix up Sydney's Gyroid Shop sign...

I didn't realize there was so much involved in getting Cyrus to wake up. On my main I guess I got 100 pieces of furniture, 50 clothes and sold 100k worth of stuff naturally within the first week of play. My alt though I was like; why is this dude not awake yet. Also, kind of oddly depressed that one of my orange cosmos and dandylions went missing apparently.

The worse part is that I'm not sure if somebody took them or not, because my memory sucks. I only know they're missing because they were in a line formation and there's a gap amongst the flowers.

Kind of reminds me of the time I lost my full moon vanity. I swear I buried it on the ground, but couldn't find it later. I had somebody shady (took my jacob's ladder and then put it back after I threatened to pull the switch) visit around that time too...

Well, I definitely want a cranky villager to replace Grizzly. I also have a couple specific dream villagers like Chevre and Poncho but I'm not too hopeful on getting them anytime soon.

I can't say for sure without hacking the game (or unless Nintendo confesses), but normally Nintendo's non-paid "DLC" is already on the cart.

I assume it's the same in this game because people can give DLC items to people who never connected online (and I doubt the item data is transferred). Plus the guidebooks have pics of the DLC items in advance.

Dunno how it worked in earlier games though, but the Zelda Oracle games did have a GBA item before the GBA came out.
