Well after switching back to the current day, I found Olaf camping in my town. I really like the igloo music~

I think he'll be my new smug villager. Now I just need to get rid of Dotty, Paula, and Poncho. D:

Olaf was actually the first villager to leave my town. He starts out with the coolest shirt and has a pretty nice house interior. Much class.

Half a million bells to expand my upper room?

I know one solid haul from the island gets me 300k but still I think I'm going to be sick of that stuff. This bitch is gonna slooooooow doooown. Going full casual now. Maybe after a while I'll have been able to buy 5 axes and be able to landscape the way I want.

I wish it wasn't a Gracie shirt.. cuz it will suck when he eventually changes it to something lame. lol

He was wearing the default pattern green shirt with the yellow birdie by the time he was boxed up lol.

8 out of 10 villagers were wearing his matador shirt before he changed and moved away, so that was pretty cool. :p

It's really not that bad, at least I don't think so. I just make a trip to the island once a day and let it build up for awhile. Before I knew it I had almost five million. But I can't imagine having as much as some of the people on here, lol. I'd like to get some of those higher rewards for having so many bells but I doubt I'll ever have anywhere near 100 million.

Only way I'd ever get that much is if I got decent turnip prices every week and bought a ton of them. I remember one week Joan was selling for 91 bells per so I bought about 20k. Sold for over 400 per so I made a ton. But for upgrading an alt's house I just hunt beetles. Works on grinding bug catching badges and also earns money to upgrade. It's not really boring if you only do it a few times per week.

Cool, had another sloppy piece in re-tail. That makes...two that have shown up.

I also had no idea those pieces were customizable, but I guess it makes sense.

I bought my only sloppy piece ever in a foreign retail. I was so surprised seeing it, I asked the village owner if I was allowed to buy it and surprisingly he or she said yes :p

No sloppy pieces here. Thought I had one but it was just a cardboard box. Nothing in retail... nothing in my police station. I only allowed Benjamin to move into my town because he had a bunch of pieces. :/ I'm a horrible mayor.

I would love to have the sloppy set in my basement. It looks amazing - I have a home in my HHS with the complete set that I've ogled and kept around for furniture porn reasons.

Speaking of porn, the Animal Crossing video was funny. Loved the filter touch to it. Adds... charm.


Edit: Hahaha... I should have complained sooner. Thought to myself that I needed to check the morning nip prices and lo-and-behold, Moe had a sloppy dresser in Re-Tail. Now to keep buttering up Ben...

Villagers have to have sloppy furniture in their homes for them to appear in Re-Tail, right? I heard they can also be found in the lost and found. Do they appear in there randomly?

So far I have cataloged 0 pieces lol.

They don't have to have it in their houses. You can get any of this stuff randomly from Re-Tail or the police station.

Yeah... I'd say normal luck too. I haven't see anyone who has gotten a set just via normal play. The HHS home I have locked with the set actually has a ton of shit they shouldn't have without duping and time traveling.

So, how does the luck thing works? I've read this and assume your luck is determined once you visit Katrina that day but I still don't understand the effect of wearing the lucky item she proposes you.

Btw, do any of you have any spare hammer or golden chair? I have an extra silver axe, cabana floor as well as many golden furniture to exchange.

Town in crisis after Kabuki's departure and Lolly's arrival. Tia asked to move while placing Lolly. Now Ankha wants out. People are mad at Fauna. Julian is hiding in his house to avoid fallout. Chemistry is a fragile thing.

Honestly the main time I notice a difference is when I happen to be wearing a lucky item for money luck and get more bells from a money rock. I did have some suspicions months ago about getting paintings from Lionel due to having a lucky item on for friendship luck, but I think it was just a coincidence.

For me, I found it was easier once I realized that the head was much smaller than I thought it needed to be.

I stopped caring about making the perfect snowman family now because they keep getting mad at me for not making them perfect!
Then I don't get anything and waste my snowman for the day. It's infuriating!
