"Food Network" celebrity chef Anne Burrellhas died in NYC ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... EMS personnel received a call of a woman in need of assistance Tuesday morning after Burrell was found unresponsive inside her Brooklyn home.

My wife is always watching these dumb cooking shows. This lady seemed like a good egg. I wonder wtf happened.

Whenever someone unexpectedly dies at a young age these days, well… you know what everyone is thinking.
It could also be an undiagnosed disease, that happens at her age. But yes, considering she was a celebrity chef, it is most likely alcohol or drugs.

She moved fast in the kitchen, i always respected that about her.

Rest in peace on the milk crate outside the back of the pub.

Watched some episodes of her show maybe around 16 years ago, and the first thing I noticed was she used a ton of salt on her food.I wonder if it caught up with her.

With many people today is the Covid vaccines.

*edit i don't think is the Covid vaccines but i think that's what most nuthouses point out.

That's too bad. I remember liking her on Food network. If I had to guess a cause, maybe a heart attack? Women can just drop dead from them early like this from one.

Ive seen her a few shows this past year and she didn't look good. was stiff and slow.. bright red face all the time.

We sure it was suicide? She was vaxxed, after all.
Not implying anything, just saying.

Well, it's funny, as some in the comments are saying that the "drug combination" may not have been suicide, but just she took the wrong things at the same time.

I just can't see someone accidentally taking significant amounts of Benadryl, Zyrtec, alcohol, and (presumably prescription) amphetamines at the same time.

That's just me though because I'm extremely fastidious about the pills I take and how they interact with others.

You're probably right. I get nervous taking anything with ibuprofen or my antihistamine.

I dunno those dont seem like an unlikely combination, allergies, some energy/focus and some booze - also seem like an odd combination if you are trying to kill yourself.

Amphetamine is definitely the odd one in the group. But three of those are CNS depressants. Taking a bunch of Benadryl and Zyrtec washed down with alcohol is definitely a recipe for a trip to the hospital or worse.

Yeah, if her BAC was high enough, and she took several first gen antihistamines like Benadryl, along with everything else, could be a recipe for disaster.

Any time I see someone die and the report says they were on a ton of meds, I assume it's suicide first unless they say otherwise. I dont see how any person could be prescribed on so many meds at once.

And then when they say alcohol or hardcore drugs were involved (sometimes that's added to the autopsy report), then no doubt something is fishy.

Even if they werent purposely trying to die that moment, they were going so over the top they were probably indifferent whether they lived to tomorrow or do die. Kind of like a gambler down on his luck. Lost almost all his money. Down to his last $50. Might as put it on one last bet. Whether it wins or loses makes no difference at that point since he's still down $1000s. Whatever happens happens.
