Gonna buy an xbox today, want to get some kinda deal.

Also what kinda games do you think a person new to the system will like?
currently the games that warranted the purchase are halo, burnout 3 and prince of persia, not to mention the impending prince of persia 2 ( played the old school black and white ones)

I bought a Crystal Xbox Bundle. Comes with Crimson Skies, Fable and 2 months of Xbox Live. Pretty good deal for the price.

The system comes with 2 new sports games and a free 2 month subscription to Xbox Live.

There are a ton of games available in the platinum hits line. All are $20 or less.

I highly reccomend the Tom Clancy bundle for $40 that includes Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six III.

Id suggest getting Chronicals of Riddick, Ninja Gaiden, XBL, Halo 2, Burnout 3, Fable, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Crimson Skies, Rallisport Challenge 2 (dont miss out on this!!) KOTOR (might take some time getting into though) and place a pre-order for KOTOR 2

there is a LIVE scheme in the UK (don't know about the rest of Europe) that gives you a free game for everybody you refer that then signs up for a year of LIVE.

Don't know if its launched yet, but was in MCV this morning.
