Hmm nobody told me HK was releasing a new striker fired 9mm that is supposedly awesome.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nIfnkX1n7IQ

I kind if want to get a .45 or a .357 next though.

Yep its been rumored for awhile then finally shown. I'm interested but I have doubts it's better than the Walther PPQ M2 that its gotng after. HK is doing a good job getting it in the hands of popular youtubers. Price is good for an HK. Still want a HK45 even though I have an FN FNX 45T.

I was going back and forth between the hk p30 and PPQ last year when I got the PPQ. My main complaint about the PPQ M2 is the mag release button has to be switched for left handed use. I prefer the trigger guard mag release of the old version but could never find one. I was going to trade it if they ever re-released the old style (rumors) but they never did. The p30 felt awesome in my hand but I wanted something different than another da/sa hammer gun (I have a USP in .40) and the thing is like $1000 vs $600.

Not sure about the Vp9 slide lock... I don't like how it's different on either side and looks a bit cheap.

Idk I'd love to see one/shoot one in person but HK are pretty rare around here. And I would rather get a different type of gun since I already have a very very good striker fired 9.

I think I may go revolver and get a S&w .357, but again hard to find around here.

spamming... but this page needs more pics

Got a client that makes pistol cases and CC clothing! Good excuse to take gun pics lol

Bonus: my brothers current AR build

Not the greatest pic. Our friend just started machining lowers, going to have to build one for myself I think.

I think I'm going to build an AR10 because I want an AR with a free floated barrel but I don't think I want another 223/5.56 gun unless I get a bullpup.

I had a chance to play with one of those MSARs, absolutely loved it. Went through a course on my friend's property, and the ability to quickly switch between targets was drastically improved compared to a standard long gun for me. Felt great.

So I was looking on armslist and saw a Beretta M9A1 for a good price. The picture was blurry like the dude has vaseline on the lens. I sent the following email:

Any issues with the gun? How long have you had it? Any cosmetic defects? May I ask why are you selling it? Thanks!

Standard questions most people ask me when I'm selling. I asked so I don't waste my and their time.

Dudes response:

Not interested in answering idiotic questions

Da fock?

Thinking of doing a budget AR build. Anyone here have experience with Del-Ton stuff? Their 16" carbine kit looks like a good jumping off point, and it's priced right.

Got my first AR :)

My only concern is that cheap retractable bipod handle I got from Amazon, it looks mall ninja and I now I think I will send the stupid handle back...

Did you go with Del-Ton? If so please give us impressions when it's all done. :)

Went with an ATI carbine-length kit and a Spike's lower with hilarious rollmarks from AIM surplus - these guys are great, BTW.

Also ordered front and rear sights and a Stark SE-2 pistol grip.

The rifle kit arrived already, and I've already broken it down, cleaned and lubed everything - still waiting on the lower and all the other stuff, unfortunately.

Took my Saiga out the other day and went through a box. Haven't done a spring or plug upgrade yet,but only one FTE and it was a bad shell. That's the fasted firing shotgun I've ever used.

Mostly done. Still waiting on the pistol grip (which includes the TG, which is why that isn't installed), irons and some Magpul furniture (MOE handguard and ACS-L buttstock, both in Stealth Grey), but everything went together without a hitch:

EDIT: Handguard and stock arrived:

Looks great!

I'm torn between building a "pistol" AR with an arm brace or a full size rifle with a bumpfire stock. Might be time to think about going through the ol' Class III process so I can have both...

Looking at a Remington 870 Express 12 GA at Fred Meyer for $370. Sounds like there might be wild Black Friday deals for this model bringing it down to sub $300 but I don't wanna deal with that shit to save $100. That price seem about right otherwise? Any other models that compare in terms of ease of use and cheaper price?

Thanks in advance.

Russian Saiga 12. I have a replacement stock ready to go. Just need to replace foregrip.
Latest pic of my AR. I'm done with it. Sights are dialed in. I had some UTG flip ups and didn't like them. Sold them on ebay. Going with some Magpul flipups

I love those forward grips. It's really odd at first, but once you take it through a course a few times, feels totally natural.

No doubt - I went with the Strike Industries grip because it was smaller than the Magpul or FAB AFGs - mounted where it is, you can wrap your index finger around the vertical stop and it just melts into the rest of your hand, with either thumb-over or thumb forward on the handguard being super comfortable. I also have to say that the Stark pistol grip changes the feel of the gun completely - way more comfortable than the A2 or even the Magpul grips I tried - the shape and angle mimics the grip of my handguns.

Hawt! What stock are you going with for the Saiga? Also like the Scooby in the driveway. :)

Bah - put it on and see how you like it - you'll likely be able to resell it for damn near all of what you paid down the road if you don't dig it. :)

I know that my shoulder would really appreciate that thick rubber buttpad, though. Props for some classic GC action in the photo, too.

EDIT: Got to take the new rifle to the range. 100 through it with no malfunctions and cases popping out right at 3:00, so I'm going to call it GTG. Got some questions from other AR shooters about it because of the rollmarks (I color-filled them in with a white lacquer stick) and we all chatted a while in between putting up new paper.

Sold my Sig P226 Tacops .40 (Just wasn't feeling it no matter how much I tried)

Bought an XDM 5.25 .40

Also couldn't beat the fact that Springfield is doing a deal where you get 3 more magazines and a magazine pouch if you purchase any firearm by Oct. 31st.

Looks good! What was the OTD price on it (if you don't mind me asking)?

$644 new from Cheaperthandirt surprisingly. I always check slickguns first and see who has the best price without cash discount. Cheapthandirt was the best price. Ordered last Thursday and received it Monday.

Not bad @ all! :) I've had good luck with them, but primarily for ammo.

Ordered an optic for my AR finally - a Primary Arms 4x prism scope. Running it with the RDS made it clear that I wanted at least some magnification, but I didn't want to put a giant tube on top of the rifle, either. Rear irons don't fit under it so I pulled them, but it's not a huge deal. Color-filled most of the rollmarks and marked my mags after realizing that I wasn't the only one with a bunch of Tapcos at the range. I'm calling it done for at least a little while - I'll probably install a modular FF tube down the road, but I'm good for now:

So I'm trying to sell my SKS so I can build an AR-15 and I haven't received much interest in it. An interested party offered a trade for their "Colt Rimfire 5760300 M4 Carbine AR-15 style 22LR" and 3 magazines for my SKS. Dollar for dollar it's a pretty even trade, but is there enough demand for 22LR AR-15's so I can easily sell it and get my real AR-15 build going? I live in Utah where guns are a way of life :)

Here is the exact rifle (scope would not be included)

I'm trying to sell my house and it's taking forever. I was planning on using some of the profit to buy some Supressors before atf 41p kicks in. I have a dickhead sherif who won't sign off on anything :/

Honest question here....why do you need suppressors? I own guns, I am pro gun and don't really see anything wrong with them so don't get the wrong idea. I am genuinely curious as to why anyone would actually have a use for suppressors.

Apparently you've never fired a gun. They're loud. Suppressors make shooting a more comfortable experience for everyone involved.

It's worth it if you shoot as much as I do, my hearing has already suffered from my hobby. Also Florida and a few other states allow hunting with Supressors. Don't believe the Hollywood hype, it's still pretty loud when shooting.

Some would say suppressors also work well as compensators as well by adding more weight to the front of the gun.

Giving out on Monday to pick up and Xdm either a. 40 or 45acp.

Pretty stoked as I shot a fair amount when growing up with my dad but haven't gone as much since I moved.

XDM 3.8, 4.5 or 5.25?

Also unless it's used I pretty much only buy online now. Use slickguns.com to search for the best price. Some of the advertised prices are cash discounts. Just go through each one until you find the best deal shipped.

And don't forget about the Gear Up promotion. It took about a week for my magazine's and pouch to get in http://gearup.springfield-armory.com/Gearup.asp

Thinking 4.5 inch. That is an interesting idea about purchasing online. Do you know of the process to then register it in state?
