anyone else looking forward to Playstation Experience more than Sony E3?

Yes, I loved PSX last year. The emphasis on indies and other games was great! I will be attending this year! Looking forward to chilling with other gaffer too :D

DemonNite appeared. Detective-GAF needs to start deciphering his post. Lol.

Tbh i'm excited for every Sony conference.
E3, GC, TGS, PSX, they always bring something cool.

And the more time passes, the higher chances to see their most awaited projects!

Right now, I'm looking forward to E3 more.

After E3, I'm looking forward to the PlayStation Experience more.

don't get me wrong, I expect Sony will have a good E3 conference but on a personal level I felt PE was better (and not just the timing of it being much more EU friendly)

You gotta look forward to all the big shows all year (E3, PSX, Gamescom, etc) since Sony spreads their announcements.

Yep, I like how Sony is showing stuff on all these events.
My excitement level is practically the same for both, but also for TGS and GC.
Of course they can spread it better than the other two, just because they have more stuff to show, but especially MS is too focused on E3 imo. Nintendo at least still has a few funny directs with some little extra stuff in the year. While MS had a GC press conference, it was almost a 1:1 copy of their E3, besides QB. Hopefully this won't be the case this year again.

Obviously implying The Last Guardian is going to be re-announced at E3 and you can't wait till they actually show it at PlayStation Experience

I think i'm looking forward to pre tgs show the most...even though its weird, it gives me more Japanese game announcements than any other time in the year

I think there will be a spread of information and reveals between E3, Gamescom, TGS, and PS Experience. E3 seems to have become a show about what comes out the following year, which makes June seem like an odd time for all of it. I think the last "best of show" winner to come out the same year was Uncharted 2. That was six years ago.

Having been there in Vegas at the venetian last year on my wedding day, it was amazing! My wife and I are going to make it our anniversary trip each year. Hopefully we get to bump into awesome buzzed adam boyes and kojima again at 4 am :-p. Great guys.

e3.

Outside of Naughty Dog, I don't really care for Sony 1st party stuff much.

Plus, I'm a multiplatform gamer and thus will have more interest in e3.

Because I can go to this one and just talk to devs and people, this is much more interesting that E3. They have panels about pertinent stuff. It's run by trolls, it's will always be more intresting. As E3 devalues it will probably outshine e3 for them. It's Sony's show.

The best of SCE. The trolls.

Nope, Playstation Experience was a letdown. I wasn't even part of the GAF hype machine for that one and it was still pretty bad. Maybe this year, with adjusted expectations it's going to be better, but I am much more looking forward to E³ and Gamescom.

PSX was pretty good overall in my opinion, the only letdown was that bullshit Square-Enix pulled.

Which one is the conference that Sony announces the localization for Yakuza Zero?
(and TLG)

I'm looking forward to that one the most.

Shinji will come out again....and the next year as well.....and the year after that....the reactions will be glorious for all the wrong reasons but then, all of a sudden, in one of the years, he will walk on that stage, stare into the audience with a deadly serious look and take out a game case with the words FF7:Rebirth. People cheer, jump form their seats, fumble with their hands to take out their cameras and phones to capture this glorious moment.....the lights flash off for a brief second and then returns.....the stage is empty.

E3 is bigger, so I look forward to it more than PSX. PSX last year was very cool though and I'm excited to see what Sony will offer us this year.

I found that entire thing kinda corny personally. Until Dawn that is, not all of PSX.

That was one of the best parts of the show.

Speaking of which, I'm expecting another meltdown on the days leading up to E3 forcing yet another response.

But man, wouldn't it be something if TLG is announced for Holiday this year? lol.

It would be even better if they don't even acknowledge TLG's existence (or rather lack thereof).

I enjoy the hype train leading to E3 the most as E3 itself usually doesn't deliver.

Same.

But the conferences are nevertheless fun, and it's cool to see so many new game announcements condensed into a few hours. Even though most of it are just bullshot trailers.

I'm not.

After this. No

Not really truth be told, but that's more down to the fact that PSX is still so far away, whereas E3 feels quite close now, so the hype for it is is tangible. Plus E3 is going to have the bigger announcements.

gamescom > PSX > E3.

E3 is where they "pay" for exclusive marketing deals in mainstream games or even deals with other Sony divisions. PSX and Gamescom are where they actually show off the cool games they signed.

Remembers "PSX 3 gigatons" rofl.

All these conferences suck now no matter what because the age of huge deals are over.

Uncharted 4 gameplay demo, Yakuza localizations, and Street Fighter V exclusives are all megatons IMO.

I will always get excited for E3 for the crazy big reveals and random things (Grim Fandango). PSX last year was awesome though as well. Sony just delivers quality conferences all year, and I love it.
