Over the past several months I've gone from aiming high(er) by applying for professional-level office jobs to going for more realistic options like administration or HR, then to "good" service jobs (FedEx/UPS, banks, city jobs), and now I'm back to desperately applying for practically anything in retail, grocery, call centers, etc... No one wants me. I've managed to get two interviews in six months (passed over both times) and tons of rejected or ignored phone calls and emails. Even temp agencies don't want me. I don't know what else to do.
This morning I finally get an invitation from Macy's to schedule an interview, but their hiring website is messed up and there's no way to select a day or time. The HR phone system won't let me talk to anyone who can actually help, all they're offering is to re-send the email which just leads back to the same broken scheduling site... I'm about to put my head through the wall.
