I don't think she ever said she would push 15 just that if she was president and it came across her desk she would sign it.

12 seems to be what is actually achievable and reasonable. Check out last weeks Ezra Kline podcast with Tom Perez. They have a conversation about 12 vs 15.

Especially being able to place a couple of SCOTUS judges. That's the most important thing. If all of the older ones stepped down today and Obama replaced them all with liberal judges and they somehow got confirmed, having a potential Trump presidency wouldn't be the nation-ending event it would be otherwise.
