I never watched a Smash tournament and that new schedule is ultra confusing. Someone care to explain?

Schedule in the OP isn't a stream one, that's why..

Basically, just have multitwitch.tv/vgbootcamp/teamsp00ky open if you want to watch all the Smash stuff. No one's made an updated stream schedule to my knowledge. (I just woke up)

I'm new too, but i spent some time on it.. I think I understand it !

this documents best. basically right now, at 9am we have the groups A 40 - A50 going on in the Pools (for smash 4)

all at the same time.

after that will be the B groups.

for instanse, this group will be going on in the next 30 mins / hour :http://apex2015smashwiiu.challonge.com/A43

and the winner of that or top few will go onto the next stage...(G51 - G58, the ones with R2 next to them in the pdf)

Hope everyone managed to get out there. Looks like there was only one bus for 50 people, and it's only going to make 5 round trips. 250 people over the course of the day, everyone else is going to need some way to get there.

So this is my first time watching a Smash tournament. How is it decided what games will be streamed on the channel? Is it whoever happens to be at a certain set up, is it like golf where they jump around a lot (in terms of who is being focused on), or something else? Thanks!

There are at least 1,000 people in this venue! Great to see so many here so early #Apex2015

Very nice.

Typically bigger names will get time on stream, that and matches that are expected to be good. Apparently some players also request or decline stream time (at Paragon Wizzy apparently wanted to be on stream more, his set with Leffen ended up off-stream when it probably shouldn't have been).

Never been to a big tourney, but I imagine it's done on the fly and some matches might be held up briefly in order to get them on stream, rather than letting the players go as soon as they are ready.

And this is proof imo why you can't switch to Diddy to clutch out a win just cause of the Hoo-Hah. If he was a better player than yeah of course. GG.

nice luigi win. I really hate using Luigi but that was impressive
