Pika he might have a chance against diddy since it's so short and therefore harder to fair and grab.

Pika is legit top 3 material. He's REALLY good and has no disadvantage against the other top tiers.

It's just that ESAM is the only Pika getting consistent results and he's hard to play optimally.

Nahh, it takes some good practice to be able to pull it off consistently (Fly Amanita, another ICs, has trouble doing it for example so he doesn't bother with it). The Fox player wasn't playing the match-up very well (DI'd wrong tons of times, didn't separate the ICs enough, etc etc).

No, they planned this event months before the Super Bowl date was set. Last year they had this about a week or so ago earlier.

Smash 4 is usually 2. Seems like sometimes 3 though.

Smash 4 is two-stock (and I think Brawl?) because of the general length it takes to take away stocks though the scene still debates whether it ought to be 2 or 3 stock. Melee is still 4 stock.

Super Bowl is always the first Sunday of February. They should at least know that.

I see Smash 4 is 2 stock. I don't really like that but oh well. I like it better at 3

I really like watching Pikachu matches just because of how mobile the character is.

It's possible. Mr. Wizard said they'd look at Apex and the community feedback to see how they'll tailor the rules and he said it's possible that some things like time and stocks might be turned down, which isn't really likely to happen with Smash 4 because that's already at 2 stocks, but Melee is at 4.

Unfortunately, no. All we have is the tournament schedule, which isn't super useful to us but it gives a general idea on how things are planned atm.
